I'll let that one die.

The human, of course. Animals are great and should be protected, but animals' lives are not nearly as important as human beings.

Appearance would probably have a slight effect on my decision, but I'd pick the one I have closer relation to nonetheless. Normally, that'd mean the human unless the animal was my pet or something.

You really think I'll be put in the situation of just me, on my own, and I have to save either the Animal or Person, and I'll have no connection to the Animal or Person, and they'll both be in the exact same state? Stupid, to say the least.

Did I say anything about the condition of said beings? Did you?

Although, it wasn't really your reply that interested me, it was more that you would actually say that it essentially could not happen to you. As if you were immune to the varied experiences of existence. Do you think you could get your arm broken by a small meteorite crashing through your ceiling? The answer would be probably be no, especially if this were a more out-of-the-blue question. But it's happened. What's stupid is the mindset that it won't happen to you.

I'll probably not post again in this thread, it's a bit boring to me.
