why wasnt confusion considered as a state that your pokemon can be in on this game? its just as annoying as sleep/paralyze etc...but why did it always seem like it was pinned into the game to add a bit more strategy...am i the only one that feels this way???

wha... do you mean. If you mean that Confusion is a annoying move then yea, I never liked Psychic type moves anyways. AS you can tell I'm a ghost person

    Meh!

let me rephrase that , i dont mean the move confusion, i mean when your pokemon is confused....... why dont they sell confusion heal at marts? why isnt confusion in the same category as sleep or something... why does it seem like its not as important?

Because when you switch out, poof! It's gone!
That is really the main idea. It doesn't last on your Pokemon once it's out of the battle. Also, the confusion effect can lose its status after a few turns.

Confusion can be cured right after battle, or when you switch out. It's almost like the move Attract. Confusion doesn't stay on you for a long time. Although I agree that it is SO ANNOYING! Darn Confuse Ray!

Actually, in that way, it's exactly like Attract. Both prevent your Pokemon from attacking 50% of the time, except, Attract only works on opposite genders and in confusion you can attack yourself.
There are items to cure confusion, you can always use berries.

I like confusion not being an official "status" because then you can pull... dun, dun, dun... Paratractionfusion! Paralyze, Attract, and Confuse at the same time. The ultimate (and most abused) annoyer strategy! I have to admit, I abuse it, too. ^^
Persim berries cure confusion, and there's a Berry that can snap a Pokemon out of infatuation, but you need an e-Reader... >_> I forget what the Berry's called... no matter, there's always the Red Flute for that.
