    Actually I have 2 questions.

    Pokémon team rate:

    1. Since we don't use a # rating system then what rating systen do we use?

    2. Why don't we use the # (1-10) rating system?

If there's no rating system then it's not really a "Team Rate" is it? It's a "Team Critic Fest"!

People get to the point where they won't post if they have nothing to criticise.

& besides it makes me feel good when one of my teams gets a 7-10 or above!

We use a normal team rating system, aka, find problem/threat to team, help problem, suggest, critic etc.

Its also in this sticky if you care to look ; -

    3. When rating a team, the following is a good guideline to follow.

    1) Listing out potential threats
    2) How would you change this team to make it less vulnerable to the threats in question?
    3) What impact does your change have? Does it open up new weaknesses?
    4) Review the changes you have made to the team and summarize the rationale behind these changes.

Also looking for general problems is helpful, for example a Blissey with no defense evs or a Garchomp with no dragon or ground moves etc.

"Good team <insert number here/10" doesnt help and gives little foundation on what to improve on your team. As an added bonus it prevents idiots from going "LOLOLOL UR TEAM SUXORZ -100000/10".

People get to the point where they won't post if they have nothing to criticise.

Isnt that the point ? If there isnt anything to improve, then dont post otherwise its kinda spam, see "Cool team <insert number here/ 10", again being non constructive.

I read the sticky! That still doesn't make it a team rate, a rating is:

    2 thumbs up
    5/10
    PG-13
    ***** (5 stars)
    ect.

What it is now doesn't fit the definition & doesn't constitute as an actual "Rating" sorry but that's just the way I feel.

& just because there's nothing to criticise doesn't mean there's nothing to say!

I remember a team rate where a veteran posted a team. Great team, he had every counter/threat covered it was poetry in motion. As a veteran he deserved a response, & we all gave it to him.

Sadly he quit pokémon before I finished my team, I would have loved to battle his team.
