I hope this is the right place to post this, i literally created this account to get some help.

So, i was changing sprites in pokemon emerald and importing them via unLZ-GBA, with everything working. However, after a while, while trying to save a new sprite to the ROM i was greeted with the message "Compressed size is: 2CC. Which is too big. Aborting". I tried increasing the space within the ROM but that didn't fix the problem, and i read that Emerald reads up to 128 values, and that the amount of values it can read can be increased. but i don't know how... Could someone please help? Am i even looking in the right direction to fix this?

It means the new sprite you want to import is larger than the original sprite in that offset. Because it's too big the new image has to be implemented in a new (free) offset. Use Free Space Finder to find where you can import the new sprite into your ROM.
