Can someone say if it's possible to have a evolution be triggered by a menu? like choosing when to evolve like Fire emblem or Digimon story

I'm too inexperienced to tell you how to do it but I'm pretty sure it can be. I would look into making alternate evolution methods as a whole and start to piece it together from there. Someone somewhere has done something similar I'm sure. Just gotta find it.

Look up in battle evolution essentials. On one of the two forums (I found it easier to find with a search engine). It's a mechanic that someone made so Pokemon evolve when they reach evolution level during battle instead of having to wait till after like in the official games. It modifies the script in the battle section, if I recall, so that could be a starting point for you.
