well, using some sort of device is cheating... but trading pokemon between games isnt.

Yeah, we all know that it's cheating, but sometimes in life the ones who play fair stay behind. Try completing your pokedex not living in America without cheating.

Though cheating is lame, eg spending over 300 hours on a pokemon game is like 10 times lamer.

So it's cheating in theory, but nobody will give a damn. At least you don't go to Nintendo events to get teh UBAH RARE POKEMANS!!! 111!!! ELEVEN~!
