I'm still playing with k'nex

    Hey ppl, I hope this is the right place to put this;

    The last month i've been busy at building a k'nex tower. I had lots of failed attempts, not big enough towers and irritating wind speeds.

    I even had to break down my constructions i use to store dvd cases and such...

    though I managed to build a tower that's 9m 38 cm tall (or 30.8 ft)
    I got a vid about it on youtube (and about my other attempts) but i'm not sure can i link it here XD

    enyhow, does eny of you still play with k'nex and what do you like to build?
     
    I remember having a six foot looping rollercoaster back when I was little, but the thing I hate about those is once you lose a piece sometimes you can't rebuild the whole thing and you have to throw out the entire set. After that day of loosing the piece, I stopped playing with Knex or any other thing that look just like it forever.

    when u get more sets/boxes, you get more of the same pieces, so at some point, it doesn't matter if you break one or two..
    I got plenty of broken pieces, but that can be used a bit still XD

    enyhow, one broken piece shouldn't make you throw it away, you can even send it to the makers to get a new piece
     
    I don't realy like the k'nex-guns
    give me an inventious ball machine or huge tower or something XD
    and btw, i got 2 instructables on that website, one for my tower and one for a dvd case/rack

    now i'm trying to build a huge ferris wheel - to break the 4m one i found on youtube - but i'm afraid I'm a bit short on pieces, so i'll have to make a model with less spokes and alike... but not giving up yet
     
    I have a set of K-Nex that you can build a T-Rex out of. There's a motor as well, so it actually walks around and stuff. =D I think my younger brother's abducted it though...
     
    it's to bad they tried so meny new things lately and are dissapearing, it's hard at getting new pieces
    and all the micro-kid-etc k'nex is crap
     
    ...hmm in sciance class we had to build a roller coaster out of knex.... was kinda stupid ..and my team has just buil themselfs a coaster out of lego duplo that is.... they were allot easyer to built with :)
     
    Never mostly cause when i was little my parents never bought me stuff except for my birthday i had to buy all my games with birthday money but now that im older I don't think i will buy it
