(TLDR, here's a bunch of shiny party icons, some recolored normal party icons, and shadow pokemon icons and battle sprites to use in your fangame. Please enjoy with credit! Edit: Still works with v18 of Essentials as well!)
When you get a shiny Pokemon, it's a huge deal. I've only gotten one shiny in an official game, and when I did I sent it out as much as possible. Every time I saw it, I felt a little bit of satisfaction, that yes, THIS was the run that I got THIS lucky in.
But when I started making shadow sprites for my own fangame, I realized that the gen 1-5 party icons didn't have shiny party icons. Not only that, but some of the party icons didn't even represent the normal design's color pallet! So, I spent the last couple weeks re-coloring and shadow-ing all gen 1-5 Pokemon's party icons, and shadowing gen 1-5 Pokemon's battle sprites. And now, I'm giving you all those sprites so you don't have to do that yourself!
This resource includes:
-Shiny party icons for ALL Pokemon gen 1-5
-Generic shadow party icons and shadow battle sprites for ALL Pokemon gen 1-5, including shiny shadow Pokemon
-Modified normal party icons for SOME Pokemon gen 1-5, in order to show off differences between the shiny better, to better represent the Pokemon's design, or just because I thought the original version was ugly.
-Party icon for each version of Arceus and Genesect
This resource does NOT include:
-Shadow Lugia's XD001 sprite or party icon. There is a generic one in there, but a fantastic XD001 spritesheet was already created by Shadowgate31 on DeviantArt, and I think if you want to use XD001, use their version.
Installation is as easy as you think it is:
1. Download the zip file from this link.
2. Unzip it.
3. Copy every image from the Icons folder in the zip file into the Icons folder in your Pokemon Essentials game, replacing any duplicate files.
4. Copy every image from the Battlers folder in the zip file into the Battlers folder in your Pokemon Essentials game.
And, you should be done!
