In Anime to come..

Once there is another region... An another girl will come and Dawn departs... We have to accept this fact... The reason why they love changing female characters, because they love making new eye-candies to boys. XD

To be fair, May's chest had completly, er, "deflated" by Battle Frontier and there was nothing left in DP.

This is a pack of lies that I refuse to believe.

Well then, Japan is a nation of pedophiles. That skirt is simply too short. Not to mention impractical for long periods of travel.

Impracticle, yeah, but you're still looking at it from a "Western" viewpoint. Some cultures would say girls who don't completly cover every inch of their skin are slutty. Who's to say who is right? Heh.

I'm not going to jump into this giant debate, but I do have two cents.

Misty, Brock, May, Dawn, Max, and Tracey are the Main Characters as well, and that never stopped them from being replaced. Also, Red was considered the Star of Pokemon Special, and did that stop the writers from replacing him? No, it didn't. If they were able to replace Red in that manga without ruining it financially, who says that Ash cannot be replaced.

Yeah, well, in terms of Pokemon special, Red was played up as "Most important", and despite that, he was still removed from the cast and replaced with yellow (and disappeared completely as soon as the Ruby/Sapphire (or rather, the Emerald) arc came around.)

Besides, that sitll doesn't explain Red being replaced despite being played out as being the almighty, irreplacable star of Pokemon Special.

1)
Ash still loses and gets beaten by early gym leaders, and fluctuates from seeming like he grew up to proving you wrong with very idiotic moves.

Red is champion who achived his dream and consistantly proves himself to be powerful.

2)
The anime is used as a marketing tool and Ash & Pikachu are the famillar faces.

Pokemon Special actually has a real story and knows how to develop characters, and knows when enough is enough of certain characters.

In my mind, it's impossible to draw those kind of parallels between Special and the Anime.
And Red doesn't strike me as an "almighty, irreplacable star". He seems like a good trainer that is talented. On the other side Ash is just really lucky and blessed by being the "Chosen One.". As much as I love Ash I don't think he's earned his way into being as great as people see him as, while Red did. He wasn't replaced, he grew enough as a character. Dawn replaced May because they both served the same purpose. Yellow didn't have anything in common with Red, nor did she follow the same path as he.

Ash =//= Red

Uhh... yeah... Jorah, no offense, but, couldn't you use... umm... you know, side profiles instead of full frontals to try to prove your point next time? I mean, the side profiles are where the whole "Big chest controversy" came into being in the first place. I mean, some of the earlier AG episodes didn't make it obvious that May had a chest when facing us (or just slightly facing away), but when she has the side profile, all of Hades breaks out in terms of people commenting on it (sorry, I couldn't find another expression that avoided, well, you know..., that place.). At least, that was from my experiences on the sites.

I think that after the adventures in Sinnoh, Ash, Dawn, and Brock should travel to another series of islands (much like what happened to OI & Orange League). Yea, just so that Dawn could stay at least a LITTLE while longer. The adventures at the islands don't actually have to be so long.

After that, Brock and Dawn should DEFINITELY leave.
Hey, how bout this idea: Ash, Gary, (Female Companion), (Extra Companion?)

And they definitely need a new season of Pokemon Chronicles... I wanna see what's happening with Arbok, Weezing, who the new gym leader is after Agatha, etc.

Eh, what's the point of Gary joining the main cast? I doubt he could do much research hanging around Ash all the time. He is definitely better off as a recurring character.

I sure hope that the next girl turns out to be some sort of femme fatale personality (like Blue/Green from Pokemon Special). That would certainly be a break from tradition, although perhaps such a character would not fit the "main character" mold.

After Tracey and Max, maybe it's a possibility that the writers are turned off writing in new male characters due to negative fandom reception. But I hope they still try anyways.

Eh, that was just some random idea. But you know, I'm wondering about the female playable character from FireRed/LeafGreen.

Battle Frontier pic her chest is facing sideways and DP is obvious that there's zilch there because her body goes straight down and there's not much of a shadow. Oh well, more pics because May is cool
