    Hey guys,

So I've had Pokemon Y for some time now, began the game for the Charizardite Y then restarted. Now, the thing is I don't really want to use any of the starters (all gens) but want to use a selection of Pokemon from the first few gens (1 - 3). I've got to a point in the game where all my Pokemon are level 10.

Here is what I've come up with they will all be at around Level 10:

    Dratini (Marvel Scale)
    Ralts
    Kangaskhan (eventually with Kangaskhanite)
    Mareep
    Magmar
    Tailow

    Also considering:

    Absol
    Happiny
It's not that I want an all powerful team from the beginning, I really want to build up a team of Pokemon I'd never really use, and not do a Nuzlocke. Since I initially played Gens 1 - 3 I decided I wanted to base it around there (having all other gens to still play through).

I am playing with the possibility of putting Happiny in there somewhere for a tank, especially since I feel like I'm missing something.

Since I've not really played since Gen 3 I haven't had much experience playing with IVs, EVs or Natures yet (I know they were in Gen 3 but I didn't really take much notice).

So, my question to you guys, do you think this team will be a good team to use? Or do I need some more variation. I am willing to change it up, but I also welcome suggestions as to making sure the game isn't too easy. I'm also looking for potential movesets (and eventually I'll look into EVs).

A few more things, I'm a player who tends to have an entire moveset of physical attacking moves rather than any boosting moves or defensive, so any battling tips/advice would be fantastic :).

    Cheers,
    Adam

I'd definitely consider adding Happiny. You don't really need to fully evolve it into Blissey; you could just keep it as Chansey if you like and get it an Evolite, and it'd be able to perform just as great. :] To free up space, you're going to have to remove one of your Pokémon; I would suggest either Tailow or Kangaskhan, since they're both of the same type. Good luck, and I hope this helps!

    Cool, cheers!

Now you've left me with the difficult decision of which to lose :P

I'd better get breeding on Pokemon X! :pink_laugh:
