In-Text Advertising

    I'm not sure if this is really new, but I've just noticed there is in-text advertising all over the site nowadays. I for one would like to point out that this is incredibly annoying and I would like to ask that an option be added to disable it, or something.

    I would much rather look at a banner at the top of a thread than be reading it and see annoying underlined text that distracts my poor brain from doing its job.

    I didn't donate some kids money so I would have to look at advertisements all over a page.

    That was meant to be enabled for only guests but recently that changed (don't know why). All I can suggest is that you get Adblock (an add-on for Firefox, Google it if you don't know what it is), or something along those lines - it completely blocks the ads from the posts so you won't need to worry about it anymore. As for why, you'll have to wait and see if PPN or someone else comes and sees this thread.

    This is also another way to disable them, as mentioned in the last thread.
     
    Thanks a lot for that link, it fixed any issues I had. ^_^ I hope it gets fixed by an Admin, though.
