In The Shadows (Invetational)

CHar was sitting in a corner just minding her own busness. She was watch MIke and making sure that he wasn't going to get himself hurt. Then Mike went into the restroom. He saw himself in the mirror and notice that he his red shirt was all wet. He smile, "That what happens when I let a girl borrow my coat while its raining." He then took off his shirt when he heard a knock.

He then took off the shirt but couldn't find his bag. HE looked around for it but it was on the other side of the room. The knock then got harder and he went towards the door with out his shirt thus exposing his thin stomach and little muscles.

MIke then open the door and saw that Jen was there holding his coat in her hands. He then smile at the thougth of how he was withour a shirt. He smile again and said, "Oh. Sorry I didn't answer earlier. I was busy. Umm. My shirt was wet and I had to remove it." He then left the door open in order to invite her in.
 
Luckily, Mike answered the door. I blinked, seeing him shirtless, and my face went red. "H-here's your coat," I said, extending out my arm with the green coat draped over it. Then I cautiously walked into the room, looking around. "I hope Talon's not in here," I muttered. "He hates my guts, but he really started it...." I said, directing my attention to Char, huddled in a corner.

After taking a quick look around, I looked at Mike, with my face still red, and said, "I'd better go." Not giving him a chance to reply, I speed-walked out of the room and back into the girls'. As I plopped down onto the bed, a chill ran down my spine. I looked down at Cinna, and she stared up at me with her eyebrow raised.. not that she has an eyebrow.
 
MIke saw the the red on Jen's face and he then smile a bit himself. He guess that he was a bit embrass for being caught shirtless. He then took his jacket from Jen and was going to say "You welcome" but Jen just ran off back to her room. He wonder why Jen was so eager to run off. Mike was bored and wanted to company.

Char then said, {Maybe you should put on a shirt. I mean that did look like she was scared of you being shirtless.} She then gave him a look.

Mike then went to his bag and put on a dry red shirt on. MIke then said to Char, "I going to see Jen in the girls dorm."

He was about to leave when he notice that Char got up too. He then said to Char, "Where are you going? Are you coming with me?"

{Yes. I don't want to leave you alone." She then smile.

Mike then said, "Ok. I guess you want see Jen and her pokemon."

MIke went over to the girls dorm with his coat on and a shirt covering his chest. He notice the door was ajar and knocked on it. He said with a smile on his face, "Hey. Can I come in? I kind of bored in my dorm with Talon out and all."

Char then smile and said, {He has his shirt on now so he won't catch a cold now.}
 
I was petting Cinna's furry brown head, when someone had knocked on the door. It was Mike. I waked over to the door and opened it up, smiling sweetly. "Yeah, I'm kind of bored too." I said, looking around the empty room -except for Cinna, of course-. I sat down on the bed, not looking back to see if Mike was following. Cinna leapt over to Mike and started sniffing him like crazy, seeing as she hadn't gotten much of a chance too before.

I giggled at Cinna's actions, and leaned back on the bed, putting most of my weight on my arms. "Cinna's weird like that," I said, still staring at Cinna and Mike.
 
MIke entered the room to be greeted by Cinna smelling him. He then heard what Jen said and replied with his own, "Yeah. She should get to know Char a bit. Char can be a bit weird too." Mike then bented down and help Cinna in his arms and took a seat on the bed next to Jen.

Char walked over laid down on the floor next to Mike.
 
Cinna started licking Mike's hand softly. "She likes you," I said, smiling. I looked down at char and patted her head softly. I wasn't very good at making conversation, so I sat there quietly, looking around the room. Cinna finally leapt out of Mike's arms and curled up next to Char, purring. I smiled at her. "I wish I could make peace with Talon," I said, after a long and somewhat disturbing silence. "If he didn't lie to me in the first place, then we wouldn't be fighting." I said, rolling my eyes. "And he didn't bother to say sorry for anything-- giving me a haircut, lying to me, nothing."
 
Mike wipe his hand and said, "Well I like her too."

Char smile and let a little fire out from her month.


"Well Talon is much of a person as in telling the truth but he is ok in some way. I guessing he is just one of those people that can be nice if you only get to know him. Just corner him and talk to him." He let a light laugh out of his mouth.

MIke smile and said, "Well. I think you look good in your new haircut. Makes you look very good." He then lifted his hand to feel her hair and then waved it. "I like it a lot."
 
My face went red. "Y-you really think so?" I said, looking at my hair in doubt. "If I corner Talon he'll probably slice my ear off." I sighed and folded my arms. "I wish I could be friends with him though." The red from my face faded. I crossed my legs and looked around the room. "I don't want to get on anybody's bad side, even though I already have." I sighed again and looked at Cinna, who had jumped up on the bed and curled up.
 
Char then took a seat next to Cinna and began to eye her closely.

MIke then said, "Yeah. I really think so. You acting as if you don't believe it." He then smile and blew at her hair.

Mike then laugh and said, "Just make sure that I am there to help you." He then wipe his nose and said, "Well anyways. I don't think I left a good mark on some of ht people here like Terra."
 
"D-Disowned you!? I-I'm so sorry...I didn't know..."
Terra said biting her lip and looking away.
She had no idea that his family had disowned him.
Sounded like he had a bad past like she did.
 
"Oh, no, it's not your fault. Don't worry about it..."

Toren smiled slightly and crossed his arms in his lap, opening his eyes and letting them once again travel towards the skies, especially at the many stars and the big, beautiful moon.

Denryu yawned and leaped up into Terra's chair(Is she in a chair? XD) and curled up beside her.

Toren shrugged and brought his gaze down and looked at Terra.

"L-let's stop focusing on these depressing things. You were happy just a few moments ago, right? Let's stay like that."
 
(She is sitting on the edge of the balcony...not a chair. XD)

Terra frowned and looked down at the ground.
"Happiness? I'm rarely ever happy these days, but if that's what you want...I guess I could try being happy..."
Terra said looking up at him and smiling slightly.
She gently stroked Denryu along his back.
 
"Well, try, at least. I haven't been truly happy much of my life either, but I'm hoping for a brighter future."

Talon smiled weakly and relaxed into his chair again, closing his eyes. He seemed to like doing that for some reason.

Denryu closed his eyes and and felt relaxed with Terra rubbing him.
 
Terra nodded and looked down at Denryu.
"I'm just not used to being happy. I'm used to fear and pain...not happiness and glee."
She muttered softly as she stroked Denryu gently.
Greslo watched them silently.
 
"Well, that doesn't mean you can't try, right?"

Talon said, shrugging. He took his hand and ran it through midnight-black hair, trying to tink of something-anything-to say. It was moments like this where he was usually speechless. Heck, Talon was was always speechless.

Denryu emitted a low growling sound to show that he was throughly enjoying the stroking.
 
Terra flinched and took her hand away from Denryu because of the growl.
She trembled slightly as she looked down at him expecting him to bite her or something like that.
Greslo grew tense and watched Denryu carefully, ready to attack if he harmed Terra in the least bit.
{I'm watching you. Don't even think of harming her.}
He growled.
 
"No, it's okay."

Talon said, smiling slightly as his eyes drifted in between Terra, Denryu, and Greslo. He couldn't understand what Greslo was saying, but it didn't sound too happy.

"Denryu usually does that when he's happy...for some odd reason. Don't ask."

Talon shrugged, hoping that Greslo wouldn't attack the Quilava. Since he was on the edge, and the fact that they were so high up, he would probably fall off and wuold be highly injured.
 
"Oh. I'm just used to being attacked by pokemon when they growl. Except for my own, mainly because they growl as a warning to others."
Terra said still trembling slightly.
Greslo jumped up in between Denryu and Terra and layed down.
Terra placed her hand gently on Greslo.
 
I thought for a moment. "Maybe we should go see where Terra and Talon are." I said, yawning.
"I haven't seen them for awhile" I looked around the room. Cinna was now laying down by Char's head, and she was purring.
I picked her up, and she stretched and yawned.
I kissed her forehead and then set her down on the ground. "Coming with me?"
 
Mike got off the bed and said, "What else do I have to do? NOt like I can go out and train or something. It too wet and I hate getting wet." He then laugh and said, "Still I guess."

He then looked at Char who was lying on the ground. She looked asleep so maybe it be best to let her sleep.

Mike then went to Jen's side and petted Cinna.
