[Other] Incorporating 3D spites into DS roms

    Hey there, I'm not sure if this is even possible but I'm curious about inserting 3D sprites from X and Y into roms of some of the older DS/GBA titles.. namely HG/SS. I've dabbled with replacing the original HG/SS sprites with custom ones.. but the 3D sprites are a whole new level of complicated, I've managed to get them onto the game, but without the animation.. if anyone has any idea of how to do this if even possible it would be greatly appreciated.

    Wouldn't this immediately look really bad because of the 16 color limit of DS Pokemon sprites? (besides how bad the ripped graphics from XY look anyway) The sprites in HG/SS are drawn as pixel art with a limited palette for a reason.

    Regardless, I think the DS would very quickly run into memory issues trying to display a bunch of animated sprites at once if you're just trying to load lots of frames from those sprites - you only have 656KB of VRAM.
