Shirona panicked, seeing Dylan cry. "Oh dear..shhhhhh", she said, hugging Dylan. She made soft soothing sounds in her throat, like a mother pokemon comforting her baby. "It's not your fault, Dylan. You couldn't have known that was going to happen.", she said. In her mind, she was screaming at herself for being so stupid. God I am such an idiot., she thought. She sighed and started singing a wordless song, something she did only to comfort herself. She was surprisingly self concious, so she didn't sing out loud. People were staring at them, so she glared and started to growl. "Scram!", she said. Vulpix popped out of her ball and starting shouting angrily at the people. The people scattered, leaving them alone again. Shirona returned Vulpix. She returned to her soft singing.

Sighing deeply, Rebecca opened her eyes and looked up at the sky with a wry smile sliding onto her face – in other circumstances this could be deemed romantic, sitting beneath the stars under one of the most beautiful mountains in the region by a clear pond with hands interlinked. However, given the chain of events that had led to said positioning, Rebecca wasn't feeling in the best of moods to appreciate the setting, although it did surprise her how easily being here like this with Seth felt, and how it calmed her so quickly until she wasn't feeling half as angry. Eyes flicking up to Seth, she wondered why that was the case…she hadn't known him very long, and he wasn't the most socially at ease person himself…but for some reason his whole presence seemed to influence Rebecca's mood greatly, which was unusual to say the least.

Her smile widened as he spoke and she found herself, subconsciously, practically cuddling up to him and clutching his hand tighter. "Thank you…I don't feel it sometimes, but I believe you," she laughed slightly, "you're really…well, you're just fantastic. I'm so happy we're travelling together." A strange feeling descended over her as she watched him in the moonlight…was it the sound of the Kricketot in the grass or the pale light of the moon shimmering over the water that made her return Seth's previous gesture by leaning her head up slightly and pressing her lips against his cheek with a slightly shaky, nervous motion.

Perhaps it was because Seth had done so well to comfort her with the same gesture, but Rebecca really couldn't have told you why she had done it should you have questioned her after the event. Even as she made contact with him, alarms went off in her head – was this really the best approach to take with a guy she had known for such a short-period of time, a guy she knew wasn't big on the whole social interaction thing? Ultimately, though, that moment was time for action, not thought, and something deep down told Rebecca that Seth wouldn't mind, in fact part of her suspected he would enjoy the return of the gesture.

Unfortunately for Rebecca, though, Magikarp took that moment to show off a new trick her had learned. Poking his head up out of the water, he sucked water into his mouth, took aim and fired it out like a bullet that zeroed in with perfect accuracy on it's target – Rebecca's head, with hopefully rebound onto the boy who had scolded him back in Viridian City. Rebecca shrieked as the water hit her, which was unfortunate seeing as her face was right next to Seth's ear, and groaned as she wiped the water from her face and hair. Glaring at Magikarp, she growled and picked up a small pebble, tossing it at the fish who of course avoided it easily just by swimming to the side.

"I'm so sorry…" she grumbled ruefully to Seth, her frown deepening as she watched Magikarp swim about as though mocking them and was sorely tempted to send Pikachu in there to give him a literal shock, "I swear, just as I thought I was making progress with that fish…"

"Don't worry, not even he could ruin how I feel; just cut the moment short," Sethos promised, wringing out water from one side of his head. He did get caught, but it was only enough to lightly splash him. This time it was weak when considering the first. "Almost makes you wonder why I defended him, too, but oh well. Thank you for what you said... and that kiss." No way I'm going to let that fish get to me after that, the boy thought as he rose from his spot and looked at the Pokemon quietly eating. No way to deny that they saw them there, so it made no difference covering it up or anything. ... That was what Rhyhorn and Mankey were laughing about, wasn't it? Sethos thought as he called out to his Pokemon.

"Rhyhorn! Mankey! Frillish! Enjoying the food?" Sethos asked, waving at them as they turned around. The three Pokemon cheered in their own way before turning back to eat some more. Most of their food was gone already; the two must have been sitting together for a while. Maybe not as long as they wanted, but still a good while.

"Tomorrow we should train for our challenges with Brock. Something tells me he'll idolize you after you beat him," the boy said with a sly smile and wink, then added, "You can go first when we do; I don't mind waiting."

Frillish looked over at the pool as it grew full and scoffed. That Magikarp needed an attitude adjustment. Smiling to himself, he started to float over to the pool; only to have Mankey catch one of his tentacles. Mankey shook her head and seemed to try to warn him not to, but Frillish wasn't afraid. In fact, Frillish wanted to settle a little score with Magikarp. That Goldeen was like his sister. Floating over to the water, Frillish's eyes turned a vivid purple as a ray of blackish shadows blasted the top of the water. Sethos heard this and decided to grab Rebecca's hand and back her away. The waves would be coming again, and they already had to dry off some. In fact, it reminded him that Rebecca's head was the original target. "Perhaps we should get you out of here and back to your house. If you stay out here you may catch a cold," Sethos said as he looked over at Frillish, "As for those two, we can call them off now or I can come back and get them when I make sure you're in your house. I'm sure they'll be safe until then."

"Ahhh yeah, you're welcome...well after you gave me that lovely...ah...I mean the gesture was umm...well I wanted to make sure you understood that, you know, that you...you mean a lot to me...and...stuff..." trailing off lamely, Rebecca grimaced visibly - really? Had she actually just said that? Talk about being full on having only met Seth...this was just so unlike her. Normally Rebecca would be concerned at this major change of personality in herself, as one could probably surmise from her relationship with her parents she didn't tend to act particularly clingy with anybody as this habit had never developed at childhood. Whenever Rebecca needed attention, it was always the case that she was either equally or less important than her parents' workload, never a priority.

As he moved to squeeze the water out of his hair and stood up, Rebecca couldn't help the almost child-like pout that pushed itself onto her face at the loss of contact before she caught herself and grinned as Seth looked towards his Pokemon...only to be freaked immediately as Frillish was going towards Magikarp. Huh? What was it doing! As little as she liked Magikarp at that moment, she disliked that Frillish even more with the mere sight of it making her skin crawl, and she wouldn't allow any Pokemon of hers to be left at the mercy of that Frillish. Especially as Seth seemed to think she would be willing to go home and not even be there to supervise! Shaking her head briskly, she held out Magikarp's Pokeball and returned him even as she recognised that pre-attack look of angered concentration in his glare towards Frillish.

"I think I'll keep Magikarp with me...I'm still not convinced that he isn't hatching some Great Escape-esque plan to get away from me. But yeah, let's go back shall we?" she almost held out her hand to Seth after she returned Pikachu and Hoppip, catching herself at the last moment as it stretched itself out slightly and instead moved it to rub her other wrist briefly before beginning to make her way back to Pewter City. The running out of the house had put more strain on her bad ankle than she first thought, and she winced as she and Seth made their way back to her house through the Town that, save for the lights of the Pokemon Centre and the odd house nearby, was largely asleep. It was somewhat peaceful.

Sethos shrugged as he returned Mankey and Rhyhorn and placed them on his belt. He was about to return Frillish when he saw his own Pokemon pouting. It really seemed to want to battle with Magikarp. "Frillish? Are you alright?" he asked. Frillish turned away sharply, but then slouched in sadness.

"Frill Frillish..." Frillish muttered.

"Hey now, don't worry. Magikarp just needs to warm up to us in its own time. Maybe when Rebecca gets her gym badge he'll be a little more tolerable," the boy said as he raised the pokeball up and made it expand, "Until then, it's probably time for us to get to bed. I'll be giving you and Mankey a little more of a workout tomorrow for our own gym battle. What do you say? Put it off for later?" Frillish turned back and stared at Sethos, but eased up on its glare. Nodding to itself, it smiled as he returned him to his pokeball. "Soon enough we'll have to battle Rebecca, right? You'll have your chance if you want it... eventually." They were trainers, after all. There wasn't any point in denying that they would soon face-off in battle. Whether it was for fun now, or keeps later. Eventually she'd have to treat him like an obstacle in her path and beat him down for the title of Champion... but that would be okay. Right now, if she was happy then he'd be alright. To him, Champion would be a bitter title if he had to crush Rebecca's dreams. There's no way he was going to do that. Not in a million years.

Running up to Rebecca, she seemed to reach out for his hand before shying away and keeping to herself. The boy was slightly confused by the change of mind, but he didn't seem discouraged. Next time, or the time after that, Sethos thought, figuring patience was the key. Either way, he walked back to her house without worry.

"I know Frillish isn't your favorite Pokemon, but I think he wanted to defend you," Sethos said as they approached the door, "I think the sentiment was nice, if I must say so myself. But we have other things to think about. Brock won't be easy."

Turning to Seth, Rebecca smiled weakly as they reached her House as he began defending Frillish. This is what she was afraid of...she knew that her aversion to the Pokemon was completely senseless and illogical but it still freaked her out beyond reason. As much as she chastised herself for it and as worried as she was that Seth would think less of her for it, it was just something Rebecca couldn't control, a phobia of sorts.

"I know, I know..." she mumbled as she turned the key in the lock and swung the door open. The downstairs lights were off and the house was quiet, save for a light coming from upstairs and some voices, raising and lowering in tone every so often. Ah. Her parents must have abandoned the kitchen workspace and decided to go and debate yet more science-y things in the comfort of their own bed. "I don't hate Frillish at all. And I know that it makes no sense...but Frillish and most Ghost-type Pokemon just really weird me out, I can't reason it away for whatever reason..." her nose wrinkled in annoyance as the truth of those words struck her and she hung her jacket and bag up in the hall, inviting Seth to do the same with a wave of her hand before making her way upstairs.

On the upstairs hallway, Rebecca looked towards her parents' bedroom door. They will have heard Rebecca and Seth arrive home, but whether they would come out...it was highly unlikely, and with each passing moment she realised it just wasn't going to happen. With a sigh, she paused and looked around waiting for Seth. Given everything that had happened she knew that they should probably get some sleep...but she was so awake, so wound up that she knew she would be in bed for an age just staring at the ceiling, tossing and turning.

"Umm...Seth...do you want to sit with me for a while? And talk about...strategies against Brock or something? I mean if you need to sleep that's fine...we can talk about it tomorrow..." looking into her room, she looked over her bed and frowned slightly. Seth would be tired...they had been through a lot today, and she assumed he wasn't as wound up as she was..."actually, it's cool. We can talk about it tomorrow morning," she changed tack with a brief smile, wondering how she should say goodnight to Seth. A hug? A handshake? Just the words? She decided, however awkward it might seem, she would wait for his reply and see how he would play it - better safe than sorry given the slips she'd already made today!

Dylan heard Sherry and Vulpix "scaring" people away, but that didn't even faze his mood. He wasn't sure whether or not he even wanted to do anything the rest of the day. It was only about 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and his day seemed ruined. It's not her fault, I can't blame her. Alright Dylan, get yourself together. He lifted his head up, and looked like a mess. His eyes were puffy and red, and he had tears staining his cheeks. He knew he had to recover from this, after all, the event happened almost 5 years ago. Blinking a couple times to get the remaining tears out of his eyes, he stood up, using Sherry to help him. The Pokemon Center wasn't too far away from the original destination, and he needed to clean himself up. He picked up the notepad and pen, and started walking towards the Pokemon Center, not even looking back at Sherry, she didn't need to see him like this.

Shirona followed Dylan, although she was much more subdued. She stopped, then sent Misdrevius and Sentret out to follow Dylan. She needed to take a walk. "I'll be around", she called. She turned then and wandered off. Vulpix noted that her trainer was upset. She heard a clap of thunder and then saw lightining strike. Rain started pouring down, soaking her clothes and hair in minutes. She sat on the edge of a small pond, her head bowed. Vulpix nudged her hand. "I'm such a screw-up. I knew better than to ask Dylan that question.", she said. Rain dripped steadily from her now-dark blue hair. After sitting there for a while, she walked back to the center. Her head was down, so she didn't even look to see if Dylan was there. She walked to her room and left the door open. She wrapped up in a blanket on the bed, and laid there.

Misdrevius floated next to Dylan, wondering why her trainer sent her away. "Hey Jem, I think we need to come up with a plan.", she said, "Because she looks like she just killed someone."

Dylan arrived at the Pokemon Center right as the rain hit. His mood was too down to care, about anything for that matter. On his way to his room, he tripped over a Purrloin's tail, worsening his mood. The trainer of the pokemon seemed to be oblivious to the whole thing, even the pokemon's loud yelp. What a trainer that was He thought, as he reached his room and slammed the door shut. Out in the lobby, that door slam interrupted everything going on, but not so much as to make someone do something about it. Back in his room, Dylan just laid there on his bed, not thinking, possibly not even breathing.

Jem managed to wrangle herself out of her pokeball, but made sure not to disturb her trainer. She walked over to the small fridge in the room, looking for anything that might have came pre-stocked. She didn't find anything, and wasn't sure how to open Dylan's bag to look for something. She insisted on finding something to eat, so she let Gastly out of his pokeball. She had developed a respect for the Ghost pokemon after it won the gym battle for them. Together the pokemon managed to make it to the front desk. Jem explained the situation to the nurse at the desk, and she completely understood, or seemed to at least. She went to the back and soon returned with a platter of assorted food, human and pokemon. The room wasn't far from the desk, but the two pokemon had the pokemon food almost gone by the time they reached it. Jem set the platter on the desk and looked at Dylan. "Gastly, I think we should do something, he seems really upset."

"W-w-well we c-could uuuh I-I don't know."

"Ugh.. typical of a guy, not knowing how to comfort."

Before Gastly could respond, Misdreavius floated into the room. "Hey Jem, I think we need to come up with a plan," it said, "Because she looks like she just killed someone."

"I agree, Dylan isn't looking too well either. We just went all the way to the front desk and back, he didn't notice anything. Unfortunately, I don't know what we could do. They are both completely out of it, and it doesn't seem like there's any way to snap them out of it."

Gastly didn't want Jem to get all the recognition if they did come up with something, so he spoke up too. "I-I-I just t-thought of an i-d-idea. What if we c-cook their sup-sup-supper for t-them. Dylan got some f-food. It can't be t-too h-h-hard can it?"

"Gastly, I think that's good, but not enough. We need something bigger, but we can still include that in there potentially. What do you think Misdreavius?"

Misdrevius thought for a moment. "welll.......she loves flowers. Especially lilacs. But that doesn't solve Dylan's problem....", she said. A loud slam was heard, followed by crying. By the time Misdrevius looked, the person was gone. She floated into her trainer's room, and found only a note. She quickly grabbed the note and went back to Jem. "Um, we might have a big problem", she said, setting the note on the floor. It read
"Dylan

I'm sorry to have caused you so much distress. I'm nothing but a screw-up, so I'm heading back home. You don't need a screw-up with you. I'm very sorry.

Signed,
Shirona"

Misdrevius let out a cry of frustration. Sentret was chittering in shock, Meowth was dumbfounded, Misdrevius was angry. "Arceus Jem! Doesn't he care about her at all?!", she exclaimed, "Surely he must care enough to try and get her back!"

Shirona trudged through the rain, protecting Vulpix. She hadn't spoken a word since she wrote the note. After a few hours, she came to Cherrygrove city. She found her house key and went inside. She made popcorn and sat on her bean-bag chair, and watched TV. Vulpix was curled up at her side.

"I suppose Ghost-types can be a little unnerving, it's alright. Everyone has something they feel that can't be logically explained," Sethos said as he took off his own sweatshirt and hung it up for the night. He didn't look it, but he felt rather tired himself at the moment. Perhaps it was best that Rebecca retracted her invitation for tonight. If anything, it was amazing that the two didn't accidentally fall asleep outside in the open! That would be dangerous considering that Team Galactic could be anywhere.

"Well, since that's it, I'll retire for tonight. I know where you'll be if there's some emergency or something," the boy continued as he walked up to Rebecca and embraced her. He probably wanted to compliment it with a kiss, but he decided against it. There would be time tomorrow for it if they felt like it. "Goodnight Rebecca, see you tomorrow." With that, the boy let go and traveled up to the guest room.

He didn't waste time trying to sort things out; he threw his bag off the bed and sat down. Yawning, the boy also took off his shirt and tossed it on top of the backpack before untying his shoes and removing them and his socks. His bandages were out in the open now, but it didn't matter. It was best to let it not collect "dirty" from being on all night, since he'd have to get used to wearing some of the same articles of clothing more than one day in a row. Not always going to find a pond to clean it, right?

At any rate, the boy maneuvered under the blankets and felt the inviting cold of the sheets. It didn't take long for him to fall asleep; ten minutes at most.

"Yeah, if Team Galactic burst through the windows then I'll fend them off with my plushie Pokemon," smiled Rebecca, eyes widening slightly as Seth hugged her. After a moment of hesitation, she brought her arms up around his back and returned the hug with a small smile on her face before Seth moved away and went into the guest room. Staring at the closed door with half a smile briefly, Rebecca shook her head with a sigh and turned into her own bedroom, changing into her pink Wigglytuff pyjama shorts and top – ironic seeing as she always hated these pyjamas and now she had a Jigglypuff of her own – and unwound the bandages from around her ankle, grimacing slightly as her fingers traced over the angry red indents the bandages had made in her skin. Perhaps tomorrow she wouldn't wrap them quite as tightly…

After washing her face and brushing her hair, Rebecca picked up a novel and switched on the lamp on her bedside table – she just knew that she was going to be kept awake that night by a nasty combination of nerves and disquiet from the day's events, and in a strange way she wanted to stay awake in her room for a while knowing that this may be the last time she would be home once she and Seth really got into their journey. Even thinking about the boy made her blush slightly, flicking a page violently in her book and trying to concentrate on the neatly printed words beneath her eyes. A book about Ground-type Pokemon – somewhat useful for her battle against Brock tomorrow.

Bingo. Her mind had found a topic that would keep her from angsting over Seth and her Parents, even as she heard their voices still debating through her bedroom wall. For the rest of the night she read about Onix, Geodude, Graveler, Nosepass, all kinds of Rock and Ground-type Pokemon and their strengths, weaknesses, stats, until her eyes suddenly grew heavy and within moments she was asleep, all of a sudden the exhaustion of the day hitting her.

Not for long, it would prove, as her Pidgey alarm clock began screeching in her ear, startling her awake so her books fell off her lap and slid onto the floor. Rebecca's eyes stung with lack of sleep as she checked the clock – she'd had around 3 hours sleep tops. Great. She would probably humiliate herself and fall asleep midway through her battle with Brock. Stretching up, she slid out of bed and padded out of her room to the bathroom, rubbing her sleep-addled eyes as she did so, splashing cold water over her face to wake herself up. Rebecca had never really been good with mornings…

Dylan was woken from his daze by all the pokemon noises in his room, I didn't leave the door open, I know it., he thought as he turned to see his pokemon and Sherry's. All but Vulpix were there, which greatly worried him. He sat up right as the pokemon turned towards him, the Misdreavius almost looking angry. He saw Jem grab something from Midreavius, and hand it to him.

Dylan

I'm sorry to have caused you so much distress. I'm nothing but a screw-up, so I'm heading back home. You don't need a screw-up with you. I'm very sorry.

Signed,
Shirona

The door didn't seem to stop him as he sprinted through the Pokemon Center, Nurse Joy yelling at him to slow down. Nurse Joy yelling snapped him out of his daze, again. "Geesh, kids these days have no respect do they Chansey?" She said under her breath, but Dylan still heard her. Shooting a look at her, he starting running again, this time back to his room. JEEEEM! WHERE DOES SHE LIVE!? He hoped his thoughts could reach her from down the hall.

"Nobody here knows... but we do know she likes flowers. Use that. Oh and I'm sorry abo-"

DON'T! I don't need that right now, can you and the other's get me flowers? I need to find her. The ITA has a database of it's trainers right? I'll look there!

((Splitting Dylan and Jem into 2 parts here))
----------------------------------------------------------------
Dylan ran towards one of the computers, and to his luck, none of them were open. He was tempted to throw someone out of the way, but Nurse Joy was already mad at him. He didn't have time to wait, so he ran out into the rain. There were a lot of houses nearby, and someone had to have a personal computer. He went to 3 different houses, knocking on the door, then making a typing symbol with his fingers, before someone let him in. He was led to the computer, and then realized he had no idea were to find the info. He searched for "Shirona ITA" and had found her ITA profile link. He was skimming down the info and found "Hometown: Cherrygrove" written right there. Not even aknowledging the person letting him use the computer, he just ran out, headed for Cherrygrove, the place where he originally started.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Jem knew she didn't have a lot of time to find some form of flower that wouldn't get destroyed in the rain. In fact, she wasn't a big fan of rain herself. Water shouldn't fall from the sky was her reasoning, but it was just an awkward phobia. She knew of a small garden in Cherrygrove, where she hatched, but it was pretty far away. "Alright, we have to find flowers, I know where to get some. It won't be an easy walk though, it's in a whole other town. I can teleport us about 1/3 of the way there, any more than that, and I'll be useless the rest of the way." The 5 pokemon made their way through the Center, not stopping when Nurse Joy yelled. The rain was worse than Jem expected, but nothing too terrible. She knew that Meowth wouldn't like it, but he had no choice. The edge of town wasn't far for a human, but for the pokemon, it seemed to take forever. "Alright guys, this is our Route. We can't get split up, or caught by another trainer. Ready?" She said, getting focused to teleport.

... Pidgey!! Pidgey!! "Gaaack!" Sethos blurted as he threw the blanket off him and jumped off the bed. It was morning! Gramma and Gramps must have needed something by now!! ... Wait, he wasn't at his home. "Right." Walking up to the alarm clock, he deactivated it with a yawn. He stretched out and stared at the time. Seven o'clock? He couldn't remember the last time he slept until then.

Something didn't exactly feel right. Looking down at his bandages, he saw that they came loose while he was asleep. Carefully ripping it off, the boy didn't feel much different. It didn't even hurt to poke his back. Walking over to the wastebasket, he deposited the wrappings before reaching for his shirt. Throwing it on, he left the guest room to find Rebecca. Going down the halls of a different house felt weird. Naturally it wasn't a familiar place, but it seemed really off. Rebecca's door was wide open, but she wasn't inside. Looking over at the other bedroom door, the boy could see that her parents were also MIA.

Further down the halls came the bathroom; closed. Either the wind blew it closed, or someone was in there. It also felt weird being the last one to wake up. "Rebecca? You in there?" Sethos asked, knocking on the door, "Have your parents already left?"

Hearing Seth knock, Rebecca yawned widely and turned around checking her reflection in the mirror - ah boy, was she a sight for sore eyes. Tangela-style bed hair, eyes that refused to open to a normal-person width and a face that generally said 'today is a day where I am perpetually pissed off with the world.' Is this really how she wanted to greet Seth..? Then again, by now she presumed that Seth wouldn't particularly be ready to run away screaming by a little bed head given everything that had happened yesterday, so she turned and opened the door without giving it a second thought.

Pulling it fully open she swayed on the spot slightly as she looked at Seth through bleary eyes and smiled somewhat weakly. "He-" she coughed as her voice caught in her throat, she always had trouble with speaking in the morning. "Hey," she began again her voice sounding somewhat hoarse and scratchy. She wasn't sick. This was Rebecca's morning routine.

"Yes parents have gone to work. I'm in here. Coffee. Bathroom is - yaaaaaawn - free." she said shortly, walking past Seth with an almost masculine slap on the shoulder as she shuffled out through the hall and down the stairs with her eyes still pretty much closed. Seth may think she looked a bit like a hungover Grimer after a huge Grimer-filled party, but it was genuinely just a lack of sleep and a poor reaction to mornings in general that had Rebecca looking like the Grimer of Darkrai. Once she had woken up, not only would she be horrified that she was wandering around in shorts and a tank top without a robe, but also that Seth had seen this less-than-sociable side of her.

But right now, Rebecca was thinking only one thing. Espresso. Doppo Espresso actually, to burn some life into her. The one advantage of having scientists who work all the hours Arceus gives, mused Rebecca as she fixed up the espresso machine in the kitchen in a very slow, slothlike manner one would expect of a Slowpoke making coffee, is that coffee ran through their veins more so than their own blood. To this end, they drank only professional-quality coffee, claiming somehow that the caffeine was of a better, more refined strain. They attempted to back this up with some kind of numbery thing but, sipping the eye-wateringly strong coffee as though it were water, Rebecca knew that was a load of nonsense. They were simply addicts attempting to give their addiction a nuance of respectability. Wow...this was good espresso, poignant thoughts like that weren't a common feature of Rebecca's morning brain-cycle...

((OOC: Good idea. I'll do that with Shirona and Misdrevius))

----------------------------------

Shirona got changed into jeans and a long-sleeved shirt. She put on a hoodie and her sneakers. She decided to take a walk. She walked along the beach, until she came to a small cross with dead flowers. She knelt next to it in the sand. "Can you believe it Riley? I actually beat Falkner.", she said. She took out the picture again. "I miss you.", she said, getting up and going back to her home. She curled up on the couch and fell asleep.

----------------------------
Misdrevius nodded. "Ready", she said.

"Morning... eh?" Sethos greeted as Rebecca slapped his shoulder and walked off. He wasn't so sure how to respond. She didn't seem like the same Rebecca hat he met yesterday, and beside the obvious bedhead, she didn't seem to take to mornings that well. There was no way he saw that one coming. "Coffee? I didn't know she drank the stuff. Might help, though."

Walking into the bathroom himself, he closed the door behind him and also looked at the state of his own head. Mareep. The mess his hair was in looked like ungroomed Mareep wool. Finding a comb on the side of the sink, the boy picked it up and looked at it hesitantly. He didn't have any lice or anything in his hair, but it still belonged to someone else. Some people don't care, but others take it like Arceus should descend from where he resides and smite the fool that used their comb. Then again, it wasn't like he knew all the rules of the house. If using the comb was an offense, then he wouldn't know.

It took a few minutes to get everything under control on the top of his head, but in the end it came out as he wanted it. His hair was now his usual style, and he made sure to clean the come of any hair that collected. Done in the bathroom, Sethos left and went down to the kitchen. Sure enough Rebecca was there, and she was drinking coffee.

"So, feeling awake yet?" Sethos asked as he decided to take a seat, "Nothing for me, I don't eat in the morning." Usually he was too busy to; so much so that now it's just habit. He's never low on energy until lunch, though. He was probably just as weird on the inside as he was on the outside.

((OOC: Going for dramatic finale here. Not sure how well it went...))

Dylan hadn't ran so far ever before. It seemed like it would never end, but he wasn't going to give up. He wasn't sure how many trainers he passed on the way, which worried him. Both his and Sherry's pokemon would be coming through this route, unprotected. When he did finally reach Cherrygrove, he was stopped by a little kid and his Pidgey. "Hey there! This is my town! Unless you beat me in bat-- HEY! COME BACK HERE!" The kid kept yelling at him long after he got into the city. It didn't look very different from the last time he was there. A couple houses, a Pokemon Center, the Mart, ITA Office and off the the East there was a beach. Dylan headed straight for the ITA Office, hoping to get more information. The same receptionist was at the desk that gave him his pokemon, Jem, and she didn't seem to remember him. "Welcome to the Cherrygrove Indigo Trainer's Association Office, how may I help you?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Alright, grab on to me, or one another. Whatever you do, don't freak out, it could hurt us." Jem said, grabbing onto Gastly and Sentret. The pokemon formed a circle in the middle of the road, blocking people from getting by. Everyone just stared as the pokemon started to glow with a bright light, then disappear. The pokemon reappeared at the entrance to Dark Cave. "We need to head South. Stay in the trees, don't get seen, but move, fast. Our trainers need us, and we need them." The pokemon moved through the brush, almost silently, before they heard a voice. "Look Pidgey! It's a group of rare pokemon! Hurry use Wing Attack on them!" The Pidgey dove at the group of pokemon, but was very untrained. It missed all 5 pokemon, and not by a close distance either. The pokemon kept running, boy and Pidgey chasing them.

They reached the small city not too long after, but the boy was still following. "Stop..... I.. Wan... to catch.. you." he said, out of breath.

"Gastly and Misdreavius, you distract the trainer, his attacks can't do anything to a Ghost pokemon, I think..."

"Y-Y-You got it J-Jem" Gastly replied, floating closer to the boy.

"Alright, Sentret and James, come with me, we need to get some flowers for Dylan."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before the ITA receptionist could say something else, Dylan ran outside, hearing a commotion going on. He didn't see anything, but headed towards the entrance to the city. It was there where he saw what was happening. The boy from earlier was trying to catch Gastly and Misdreavius, but the other pokemon were nowhere to be found. JEM! WHERE ARE YOU!? He thought, just as she, James, and Sentret appeared in front of him. "Dylan, come with me, and don't worry about those 2, they can't be harmed."

Hesitantly, Dylan followed, being led to a patch of flowers. He hurriedly grabbed some, not worrying about color or anything. All of a sudden, people started flowing out of houses, trying to see what was going on. Dylan pushed his way to the front of the crowd, hoping Sherry would come and see him.

((I'd say that's a good dramatic finale! Also, I've made a very important post in the OOC thread. Can everybody please check it out ASAP? Thanks!

"Morning," agreed Rebecca, the tone of her voice rolling the word around and spitting it out with venom as though it were a curse word to describe the worst of the worst of everything in the world. Mornings really weren't Rebecca's thing. Her whole body was slumped over the table as she drank her espresso, not even looking at Seth as he entered the room. Eyes slightly more open than before, she watched as he sat down, inwardly cursing that he had taken the time to straighten his hair out and make himself at least presentable...here she was, looking like she hadn't met a hairbrush in weeks. Propping her elbows on the table, Rebecca eyed Seth across it. Had she been fully with herself, perhaps she would have felt some kind of tension from the undiscussed occurances of yesterday, or perhaps there would have been that tell tale flush across her cheeks that would indicate something was on her mind. As it was, she was looking at Seth and registered...well, Seth. Boy she was travelling with. Friend.

Pushing herself back onto her feet, she moved over to the machine with a somewhat smaller yawn and fixed herself up a solo espresso this time, leaning against the counter as she sipped it slowly. "No coffee even?" she asked with slight incredulity to her voice, she couldn't quite believe that anyone could survive without coffee in the morning. Although she did register in the back of her mind that not everyone was as much of a monster as she was just after the sun came up. Yawning once more, she felt her mind begin to clear...and was aware that she was stood in front of Seth in her shorts and strappy tank top and slippers...aaahhh. Now the blush appeared on her face as she oh so inconspicuously glanced down at her legs, not able to remember if she had in fact shaved them or if they looked like Arcanine fur had been glued to them. No. Not too bad. Seth wouldn't notice. She visibly relaxed somewhat, wondering what she could do...would it be way obivous if she suddenly ran off to her room to change given that she was still just starting to wake up?

Casually, she pushed herself off the counter and wandered over to her seat, sitting back down heavily and draining the last dregs of her coffee. Pushing the small cup away from her, she slid it around the surface of the table in circular motions and frowned slightly. "Well...today is the day we challenge Brock! How are you feeling about it? I really need to get some training in...as much as I hate to admit it, Magikarp is my best chance to beat him. Hoppip doesn't know any grass-type moves yet...this is going to end in disaster..." she groaned, slumping forward and resting her forehead on her arms and clutched her hair in her hands. Magikarp was just going to show her up...she knew it...

Shirona groggily woke up, hearing commotion. She stumbled out the door, Vulpix following behind her. She looked over the crowd and saw...."Dylan....", she whispered. It was still raining, but she didn't care. She shoved her way to the front of the crowd, and stood before Dylan. Her hair was hanging in strands around her face, so she pushed her hair back. "Dylan...Dylan..", she said. She ran and hugged him, not caring if people saw this as awkward. "Dylan...Come.", she said, tugging on his arm and practically pulling him into her home. After she shut the door, she hung up her wet hoodie. She sat on her bean-bag chair. "Why Dylan. Why did you come after me? I made a mistake that caused you pain. So I went away, hoping I wouldn't hurt you anymore....", she said looking down, then up, "Guess I hurt you by leaving, didn't I?", she asked.

Misdrevius simply used Confuse Ray on the pokemon and on the boy. After that she found her trainer, and happily floated beside her.
