.ini Files?

I've asked about this general topic before, but so far, I can't find any solutions. I'm trying to use G3T to edit trainers in a project I'm making, buut when I try toopen the Trainer editor, I get an error about an "unhandled exception". This happens with HTE as well. I was checking the other tools in the application, but the Moves Editor, Item Editor, and Pokemon editor all claim to be missing data in the .ini file that is clearly there. I haven't done anything to change any of this beforehand, so it should be the same as a vanilla Fire Red ROM, and I can't see what I'm missing. Any advice?

If anybody has an idea, or knows somebody I can message about this, it would help a ton! Getting this figured out is the last thing I have to do before I am able to start working on a real project!

you have to open the .ini file of HTE and change it then it will work
