For the record, I am referring to the fansubs of Initial D First, Second, Third (Extra) and Fourth (Project D) stage. I seriously cannot stand the mutilated version TokyoCrap (ie TokyoPop) released. Seriously, I recommend any Initial D fan to buy fansubs instead of the dubbed nonsense.

So, now that I've finished ranting, does anyone watch Initial D? Or play the game (Arcade Stage)? Discuss it here! At the moment, I am up to Episode 6 of Fourth Stage. On the arcade game, I use the RX-8. It's got around about 150,000 points, and in Legend of the Streets I've been doing it in order from Myogi and now I'm up to the last challenger on Irohazaka, Kai (Caine in English version).

By the way, if you have any questions on the anime or the game, please feel free to ask and I'll answer to the best of my ability.

Let's stay away from the bashing shall we? Anyways I've only read up to volume 7 of the manga, and seen the first ten episodes of anime...it's good...kinda odd but good.

Sorry about the bashing, but I had to get some frustrations off of my chest. So if you've watched the first ten episodes, then you should be up to the Gum tape death match between Takumi (That's Tak for you) and Shingo.

Yep^ ^, That's where I stoped the anime, anyways the manga is better, plus Tak is such a lil' kwutie in the manga. Stick to that honey.

Ehh...Initial D fangirls always obssess over one of the Takahashis, or Takumi...you should watch Fourth Stage, the character art is WAY better than First.

Anyways I would buy the manga, but unfortunately here in Australia, we don't get much in the way of manga novels. The only times I'm able to buy any are at anime conventions. Outside of that, I have very limited selections at EB and other gaming shops.

Heh, one day I'm going to take my RX-7 for spin down Mt Akina (or Haruna as it's called by the locals) and see how I rate as a drifter...

I love my lilttle fan-girl moments,lol...I'm sticking to the manga, it's gone on longer then the anime, since the anime has ended and the manga just ended last year in Japan.

    What?! It's finished?! Noooo!!!!!!!

Oh well, can't win 'em all, I guess. How many manga volumes are there? I wanna see if any of the unanswered questions I have get addressed (ie does Takumi ever beat Bunta? What does the 'D' in Project D mean?).

    Fangirls...can't live without 'em...

=/ I play that game as well and I also watch the series, I'm up to episode 6. In the game I drive the Sil80 because I like that blue color. :O*** And also I used to drive the RX7, but I find the Sil80's drifting capabilities to be more predictable, therefore it is easier to use.

XD I smoked two guys at the arcade yesterday on Irohazaka...then I got beat by this other guy that was battle level 14 >_>; His car was...glowing~ I'm only battle level 1, bleh...

    I will never watched the dubbed versions...NEVER!!!! o_O;

Gama!~The manga ended at volume 34 I belive, I'll double check if you want me to. The anime had a origenal ending that didn't follow that of the manga, as do many animes. Most of what you need to know gets explained.

YEAH! Another person who sees through Tokyopop's lies!!! MUH HA HA!!!

I have a blue RX-8, yes I like blue as well. I'm pretty good on Akina and Happogahara, or any course that's wet. My battle level is 4, I still got another 7 levels to go before I get my first aura...

As for the RX-7, although I use one in Initial D, I was referring to real life. It's a second hand '95 model, but hey, it's a million times better looking then my friends' sad looking Supras and Civics. And even though its stock (only single turbo and a sorry looking spoiler), it can outrun just about any of the done up cars in my town. Hehe...rotaries for life...

Hello! I was WAY off, the manga is still running, it has 30 volumes at the current time0.o

Blue, you are a life saver. I thought I was in my darkest hours, but now you've given me hope! YEAH!!!

Hmm...volume 30? What happens there? Has Project D challenged S.S.R and the Saitama All-Stars yet?

Oh good, wouldn't want you to die on a case of my lazy butt><. I'm not sure of the story, as I said I'm only at volume 7 in english volume 18 in spainsh. I belive that the challenge stuff already ended.

In volume 25 is when you find out what D stands for I think...I'm not so sure I'll have to find out later.

XD My name starts with a D. Hehheh, it was a joke when my friends asked me what "Initial D" meant when I was wearing an Initial D t-shirt. Then I said it stands for my initials.

In real life I want a Nissan 300ZX, it's my most favorite car. There is one in the parking lot of my apartment complex. I drool over it and stare at it everyday. It is nicely modded with dual exhuast pipes, spoilers, bumpers, ect; You get the picture. It is an awesome car, if I get the chance to take a photo secretly I will! ^_^

Wonder if we ever find out what the D in the the title means? 300zx...nice car...my friend had one...before he crashed it up ><

300SX? I've seen the 180SXs and 200SXs, but I've never seen a 300SX. Maybe I should head over to Brighton-le-Sands and see if any of the hoons there drive one (Brighton=a town known for its racers/ricers, a massive carpark really. Hoons are local slang for people who race/do up cars). My RX-7 is spraypainted 'Innocent Mica Blue', it looks very similar to the stock RX-7 Type R in the game but its spoiler is similar to the stock Spirit R's.

My favourite car is of course the RX-8 in the 'Winning Blue' colour. I'd do it up Mazdaspeed style. Man, that car turns heads, I drool over RX-8 I see. Of course, my RX-7 isn't too shabby either, people especially hoons, stare at it to the point I get paranoid, since they are so rare here in Australia (and much in demand). If I ever had the money, I'd upgrade my FD into one of the later models, like the Spirit, RZ or Bathurst R.

I've got one theory on what D could mean, 'Domination', since Ryosuke's aim for Project D is to dominate the entire region with Takumi and Keisuke. What really pisses me off in Fourth Stage is that you never see Keisuke's races (so far, up to episode 6). I mean, would it kill for Keisuke to take the spotlight just for one episode?
