So yeah I stumbled across this thing on reddit, and the main thing what it did, was explain that Malamar is overpowered by far.
A quick introduction: I am Aternox, where Ater and Nox mean dark and darkness respectively. The Pokémon I am raising all have dark as a type or subtype, and thus I wanted to try out Malamar for its funny types, psychic and dark if you wonder. however I couldn't get Inkay to evolve after so many levels that I gave up on evolving him, thinking I'd have to trade him or something. What also stood out was his attack stat, which was relatively quite high.
Now both Inkay and Malamar have an insanely strong ability: it reverses the effect of any stat change. Someone using tail whip on you? Thank them for increasing your defense. Swagger is kind of a problem though! But yeah that, and the Topsey-turvey move, which just does the exact same thing when you use it, but then for your opponent. Ancient power buffs? You mean debuffs.
Then I stumbled across this topic about Malamar stats. His attack stat was the highest of all stats. Weird. And he can learn Superpower. Wait, what? Superpower is a 120power 100accuracy 5pp move fighting type, which lowers your attack and defense afterwards. See the synergy? Just boost its pp and you got yourself the strongest Fighting-type Pokémon ever. Give him something that boosts Fighting type moves, and voilla!
That's all for now folks, just wanted to share.
P.S. Is it normal to catch Yveltal with the first ball you throw at him (a dusk ball in my case)?
