    Why hello there!

My name's HodgePodgeNine, but since 14 characters are a nuisance, call me whatever you want! If I may make some suggestions, Hp9, HPN, or even the classic Harry HodgePodge all are swell titles.

    Biography time!

So I've been playing Pokemon for a solid two thirds of my fifteen year life, starting with Yellow all the way down to gen 6, my love for the game increasing exponentially with each title (usually :P). My personal favorites are HeartGold and SoulSilver, remakes of my favorite generation contained within my second favorite generation! In fact, maybe I'll just list my favorite generations:

    1. Gen 2
    2. Gen 4
    3. Gen 1/Gen 6 (currently in a heated brawl for the title)
    4. Gen 3
    5. Gen 5

Love it or hate it, that's my list. Now, I guess the question lingers as to why I came to PC, and you guessed it, it's the same as 99% of all the others sign ups: ROM hacking. I was introduced to it years ago, and always loved the idea of creating my own Pokemon game. The truth is, however, I don't have much experience with it. I messed around with advance map and other programs when I was about 10, but I never got anywhere. I'm sure that you long time PC members have seen a million of people like me join, try to make a hack, and miserably fail only to leave and never return...

...and I might just be number 1,000,001. Or maybe not. Only time will tell.

Of course, hacking isn't the only reason I'm here. As a long time Pokemon lover, I'd love to meet some new friends who share a common interest with me. I don't bite (most of the time), so feel free to say hello :D

Well that's all I can muster at the moment, so I guess that's about it for my first post. Hopefully it won't be my last!

Yes! Someone else who loves Gen II the best!

I've been playing since the old days of Red and Blue, and my favorite games would also have to be Heartgold and Soulsilver. I love Johto so much. The Pokemon designs, the region itself, etc. Heartgold and Soulsilver did a great job of remaking the original G/S/C games. My second favorite region (and games) would be Kalos and X/Y. I really like the Pokemon designs, and the 3D gameplay was awesome!

Anyway, welcome to PC! I'm sure you'll love our large Emulation section of the site, where you can play many hacks made by our own creative members of the forum as well as post your own hack and get feedback! You can also check out the various tutorials available to help you out with whatever you need! PC is also home to the friendliest and most helpful members ever, so you'll make new friends in no time!

If you need anything, just ask (:
