I am trying to find a way to insert new palettes into Emerald but seem to be running into a wall. When importing with Overworld Editor, it just replaces the palette. I thought that using unLZ would allow me to create a new palette at an empty space found with FSF, but I can't find a way to change the pointer of the sprite to that palette due to the fact that unLZ can't reach the index of the overworld sprites. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Vanilla Emerald has only a few palettes to work with for all overworld sprites by default. So if you want to add a palette, you'd need to replace an existing palette. To add an extra palette you'd need dynamic overworld palettes and I'm not sure whether that's available for binary Emerald hacking.
