Interesting thought

    ....This has been bothering me for some time and I was wondering this. Why do people complain about the anime so much here? On most other Pokemon forums I go to(Serebii, BMGF etc,) people don't make half as many whiny threads as here. And if they do make one, it seems to have more intelligence then a random temper tantrum. I'm serious, it seems as though 9/10 of the threads here are either 'TEAM ROCKET SUCKS' 'ASH SUCKS' 'BRING BACK MISTY' or the broad 'THE ANIME IS OLD SUCKS AND REPETITIVE'

    It can't be so bad if they're posting here about it.

    This probably will get closed or something, but I'm just curious about people's overall thoughts of the anime.
     
    I was going to make a thread about this, actually XD But I didn't because I thought it's just all about bashing people and it'll get closed...I think exactly the same though haha. Why do people come into the anime section if they don't like the anime?

    My overall thoughts on the anime: I like it. XD It has its boring episodes, it has its good episodes, but I enjoy it.
     
    Are you complaining about the complaining? >_> There's going to be somebody who complains about something everywhere you go. Instead of making a topic about the complaining, maybe you should have started a new original topic to help brighten up the place. But then again, you've probably been here alot longer than I have.

    I forgot about your question.. I'm a fan of the anime. Always have been. Still watching today. :)

    Maybe we like to express ourselves.
    I've seen a lot of threads about the Anime and they had some great logic to them.
    Maybe you weren't using your logic while reading them and didn't pay close attention to how logical they really were.

    Congrats you just described any fandom for anything. There is nothing on Earth that will please everyone. Everyone has different opinions about everything. I myself liked the original series, but I've embraced this new one. I like a smarter Ash who actually earns his badges and works with his pokemon to make them stronger.
     
    I would say "compare the threads here to the ones on BMGf" but someone's just going to tell me to go off there, heh. Point is, most threads here are just generic what you like/dislike, other forums have a lot more thought in them. Other people that go to both Serebii and BMGf have said that, and have actually complained about this forum on those ones, heh. All we can do is improve this place ^^ It is much better than it used to be and has improved a lot, I think, since about a year ago.
     
    I'm just wondering what else is there to discuss. It seems like everything has already been posted before. I haven't been here long, but it certainly feels like it... :/ :P I'm pretty sure things will get better.

    What we need is a topic that will revolutionize this forum and the entire world.



    ....Ok, maybe not the entire world, but we need something NEW AND EXCITING.

    Threads are based on what the writers have given us. I mean unless they do something new and exciting we are pretty much stuck

    @Jorah: I find it funny though how we can't complain about other forums though. XD
     
    Could be stuff like "why was Jun introduced so late/at all?" "why are there so many game characters recently?" y'know, way over-analytical stuff that's kind of interesting XD

    I'm sure Serebii is complained about a *lot* here, not particuarly in this section though heh.

    lol ur signature does not have a pinkish tint to it. but then again I do only have half the normal red color detecting rods in my eyes so its very possible its there and it is just completely invisible to me.

    well maybe the administrators should jst make a complaint section so that not everyone who enjoys watching and discussing the anime has to see it. I very much enjoy the anime and really want to get into some avid and intense discussions but all I evr see are complaint threads. lol

    The thing is with fandoms, at least with me, I can't stand when people come up with such implausible theories that make no sense at all. It's like there is no thought at all when making them. Or when people fight over fan theories.

    Yes, I know that. I know fandoms are quite hard to please. I just found it a bit...irksome that people seem to complain about the anime so much in this forum to the point of redundancy.

    I, myself, like the anime(otherwise I wouldn't get irked at the whole complaining thing)

    And I guess I am being hypocritical complaining about complaining.

    No not all, see its good to come to the realization that you can't please a fanbase ever. Also the way I look at it is that they wouldn't watch a show if they didn't like it.

    So you're implying that they secretly (or subconciously) like the show and they are just complaining about it for the sake of complaining? That's deep man... lol
