This is actually quite old, but I just noticed it. After a search on the internet, I believe I may be the first.
The 9th Movie was released in Japan on July 15,2006. It was the last third generation movie to come out right before the release of the fourth gen main games, Diamond and Pearl on September 28,2006.
Now I'm sure you saying that you already know this, but the reason I am posting that is to add a little history to back up what I am about to say.
There is a little scene quite literary a few seconds after the hour mark in which Team Rocket has a seemly normal conversation, except the last words muttered by Meowth.
Here is the conversation:
Jessey: That old crusty crab thinks he's so smart, when we're the ones poised to pocket those diamonds and pearls.
Meowth: Hey that sounds like a good name for a game.
Right after that, Wabafet pops out.
Look at what Meowth said, "good names for a game." Of course this is the English movie, I would need someone to confirm this on the Japanese side, I've attached a video clip of the conversation.
What does this mean?
Well I will go check now and look to see if any other Pokemon movies has the same hints in them; but when the 13th movie comes out, we may be able to hunt around the movie and find out the names of the next games months before they are officially released. Then again this could be an isolated incident too.
