    Hi everybody!

I have changed the first scene in emerald (when you are in the truck). However, there is a bug when I play the game (see picture)

    How can I fix it?

Second question: How can you change the size of the grids in paint in order to be 8x8?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards,
    Pokemaniaco

Try using Hackmew and MM_X's Intro-Ed. I think it has an intro truck remover. As for the grid, that would be a no. Try using Gimp or Photoshop. ;)

But I want the intro movement thingy. I just don't want that bug... lol.

Can you please tell me how to use it? (It's my first hack, I'm kinda noob in this... lol)

The problem is that when the game finishes the song, it loads some map tiles to show the light from the door of the truck. When you changed the tileset, it loaded the tiles with the same positions as the light. Therefore, I suggest, like shinyquagsire, to use ZodiacDaGreat's Advanced IntroEd to remove the truck.

    Done.
    But the bug still continues...
    Help please?

PS: Thank you for your help until now ;)

I had a couple problems with this before. If you'd be contrite with a simple way to get around it, rather than a real fix, here's what I did.

I changed the height dimensions of the map by 8-12 tiles and placed the actual map at the very bottom of the map. Those tiles will still be active and on the map, they just won't be visible due to movement restrictions. I attached an example. The red dots I placed on it are simply where the glitched/broken tiles that I can't get rid of are. Hope this helps.

Ok, tried again what you said:

    1. If I do what idunfox says, i have an black screen which dosn't allow me to do anything.
    2. I tried using only the 5x5, but the bug still is in there...

    Help?

Nevermind, I've done it :P (Finally!)

Which method ended up working for ya? I had the same problem and couldn't find a fix so it would help out.

    do what idunfox said:
    1. change the size until you can'tsee that squares
    2. insert the map everytime you make a change
    3. and play everytime you make a change.

do step 2 and 3 everytime yntil you get what you want. you'll eventually get it ;)
