What's up, it's my first post. Was just wondering if there's any pattern in the movements of the legendary beasts, or any other tactics on catching up with them? Or is it just completely random? Hopefully it's the former.

Oh, a little more about why I'm here. I'm hoping to make some adult friends, so I can put a face to who I'm trading with instead of trading with random ppl from other sites. Thought it'd be more fun that way. Thx, see ya.

In addition to the FAQ you can ask questions in the Help thread.

They tend to move to an adjacent route each time you go to a different route or go into/out of a building/cave, although there is a possibility for them to jump to the other side of the map I think? As for tactics, go to any two adjacent routes and make sure your lead Pokemon is lower in level to them but higher than the Pokemon in the route and use Repels. Move from Route to Route until you find one on that route - repels will ensure you encounter it instead of something else.

As for catching, they will run the first turn (even when asleep!). You'd want an ability that traps them (e.g. Wobbufett's Shadow Tag) or a move (e.g. Mean Look) so you'll have some time to chuck balls or do damage and whatnot. Note Entei and Raikou also have Roar though, so unless you have a Poke with say Soundproof or Suction Caps, etc... But at least any damage dealt to them will carry on into the next battle you have with them.

As for trades, you'll have to ask in the Trade Corner section, and as for friends... well just post in threads and maybe VM people and so forth! You can also make a Welcome thread in the New Users/Welcome section, and there's also a daily chat thread in the trade corner that might interest you.

    Anyways, going to close then.
