Invitation to Saliplan Island

A matter for urgent clarification: So far, who are the players who have signed up? I really need to know for my RP sample. I'm almost complete but without the information as said just now. :/

Well, I consider 'signed up' as having completed their sign-up form. If it's incomplete it's only under 'reserved'. So far, nobody has actually completed the sign-up form. I have listed in the bottom of the OP all who have asked to be reserved and who are reserved due to having started but not finished their sign-up form.

So, if you were to post a completed sign-up, you would be the first and only so far.

Okay, I'm done! :)

Name:Andy Gleyersian

Sex: Male

Age: 14

Length of time spent as a trainer:2

History: His family originally came from Snowpoint City in Sinnoh, but migrated to Kanto region due to his father's change of jobs. He currently lives in Celadon City with his parents. He tried to enter into the Pokemon League but was defeated by Bruno. Because of the long journey that ended at the Pokemon League, he has grown into a strong independent adolescent and his parents are proud of what their son has become.
After returning to the life before he became a Trainer, he has been looking for any opportunity that allowed him to relish the adrenalin of battling and Pokemon once more. Therefore, when he received the email from Robin, he immediately accepted the challenge.

Personality: Cheerful and friendly and can be a bit too relaxed sometimes, but he becomes serious when the need arises. He is only good at being the leader of a Pokemon group, but as for the idea of leading a group of humans, he feels that he isn't the one for the job and dislikes responsibilities. He is very inquisitive and likes exploring unexplored places or anywhere that piques his interest and excitement. He has a habit of sometimes forgetting important information just as when he needs them. When he is provoked, he can't think properly and his mind can become a blur. That is why he always loses in long tedious arguments and quarrels, but generally he is a warming guy to hang out with and tries not to show his bad side no matter what.

Physical description: He has brown eyes, black brown hair and a slightly tanned skin. He is lean and slightly muscular. He sometimes bothers about the clothes he wears, whether they are matching in colours or visually well-presented, but normally he randomly picks clothes from his wardrobe. Most of the clothing he owns has at least the colour blue, as that's his favourite colour. He always wears his favourite grey-white sports shoes wherever he goes. Around his waist, his PokeBalls are all hanging along the belt and his bag is securely carried on his back.

Pokemon:

1. Name: Glacian
Species: Glaceon
Gender: Male
Level: 43
Moves: Icy Wind, Water Pulse, Ice Shard and Shadow Ball.

History: It was the first Pokemon Andy owned. His father had given it to him as a present when it was an Eevee on his ninth birthday while they were still living in Snowpoint City. He asked Candice if she could train it for him, as he was not old enough to be a Trainer. One day, it evolved while Candice was training it near the Ice Rock and she immediately told him the good news. She also helped him teach some good TMs before returning it back to its owner when Andy turned 11.

Glacian is very good at battling, especially in physically tough weather conditions like hail, as it was raised the tough way with other Ice type Pokémon of Candice. Glacian and Andy have a strong friendship with each other. Both have been through many harsh situations and came out victorious. Though, the first time Glacian ever tasted loss was when he fell to Elite Four Bruno's Fighting type Pokemon. When Glacian found out his Trainer was going on an adventure, it started regaining some of its survival instincts it had lost on the long hiatus from battling.

2. Name: Flarixa
Species: Vulpix
Gender: Female
Level: 39
Moves: Confuse Ray, Will-O-Wisp, Payback and Flamethrower.

History: Flarixa was the first Pokemon caught by Andy when he moved to Kanto and lived in Celadon. He used Glacian to help in the capture of the little fire fox which Andy always held a special respect and awe for its natural Vulpix beauty. He showered it with care and in return, it brought to victory in numerous battles. She has a close friendship with Glacian even though they are of opposing types. It's probably because that they are both fox-like creatures and have a way of understanding each other.

Flarixa is quite vain and always self-conscious of her looks. This may be to her disadvantage in battle when she stops attacking just to do up her fur, tail or whichever part of her body that she finds that's messy and unglamorous. She is easily provoked and she has a bad temper, she can be very mean and fiery (No pun intended!).

3. Name: Terrerth
Species: Turtwig
Gender: Male
Level: 12
Moves: Tackle, Withdraw, Seed Bomb, Absorb.

History: Hatched from an Egg, his parents were a male Venusaur and a female Torterra. It received the egg move Seed Bomb from his father. After its birth, Andy soon discovered that this little terrapin knew the move Seed Bomb. Andy went all crazy and ecstatic that morning as according to what Terrerth had heard, a Turtwig knowing Seed Bomb is quite rare. Gee...all this fuss over a move. So what if I know Seed Bomb? Terrerth thought. But knowing that Andy thought of him as a special rare Pokemon made him feel a sense of dignity and his self-esteem rose.

Being a low-leveled Pokemon, Terrerth has yet to learn everything about battling. Thankfully he has Glacian and Flarixa to teach him just that. Though he finds the both of them slightly intimidating as their types are his weaknesses, he still looks up to them as a big brother (Glacian) and big sister (Flarixa). He still has not fully mastered the usage of his Seed Bomb and keeps messing up whenever Andy tells him to use it.

RP Sample:
Andy was up before the alarm clock rang and hurriedly woke up Glacian, Flarixa and Terrerth before feeding them their breakfast and going off to take a shower. After he was well-dressed for the occasion, making sure that there were no creases or wrinkles in his attire, he returned the 3 of them back into their PokeBalls before hopping onto his blue chrome bicycle and raced down to Vermillion City.

Upon his arrival at the port, he saw 3 people, 2 males and a female. One of the males introduces himself as Francis. At first, Andy thought that Francis was Robin as he looked like the kind who was very business-like, but Francis cleared that misunderstanding up swiftly. He speedily read off a list of supplies to see whether Andy had brought them and Andy checked off all the boxes needed. Then Francis just mumbled a word which Andy didn't catch and turned to face the sea.

Then another man, which Andy presume him to be Robin since there was no one else other than the girl and Robin was definitely male, approached Andy and warmly smiled at him while taking his name down on a clipboard. Robin seemed to just come out of bed and had some suitcases with him. Wow! Packed so much?!

The other girl who was typing on her laptop briefly introduced herself as 'Louise' and said something about overheating her laptop as her fingers flew at light speed at the keyboard. Her tone seemed slightly sarcastic but then changes as she smiled a little. Not taking much interest in what the 3 people were doing, Andy just released Glacian, Flarixa and Terrerth out from their PokeBalls and sat on a bench, facing the calm sea. The 3 Pokemon wandered around for a while, familiarizing with the surroundings before sitting all at the same spot. Andy felt the sea breeze brush against his cheeks and caressing his face. He'd better enjoy all this calm relaxing moments before the real challenge began. He smiled thinking of that somewhat philosophical thought.

Is it okay if I ask for a reservation spot? It's kind of late here (well, not late actually, my timezone's GMT +8) so I can't finish this one now. If you can give me a spot, can you give me two days to finish it? Just askin'. If one day's the limit, then I accept ^^' (Oh, and I think I'd be re-using a character...)

Diamond1304: Nice. Accepted.

Ash_Ketchum123: Okay, reserved.

poison snivy: It's okay, no need to apologise. It's just you do need to put a lot more work and time into your sign-up. As I said, your RP sample would have actually been alright, but its presentation was very messy and made it much harder to read. You need to remember to use full stops, commas, quotations and capital letters where required, as well as fix spacing errors and confusing paragraphing. The character fields like personality and history, though, need a lot more thought put into it and a lot more description. Take more time to flesh out your character. Make sure to complete all fields as they are required to be filled, following all instructions. Proof-read everything before you submit it, run it through a spelling and grammar checker if you're unsure. If you can do that, I might reconsider.

I'm gonna have a big ol' attempt to this Role Playing thing. :P

Name: Polio Fromage (Pronounced Poe-lee-oh)

Sex:3 times a week Male

Age: 16 years 10 months

Time spent as a trainer: Roughly 3 years, although the interest has been there much longer.

History: Polio has deprived from a very unlucky family, and no one knows why his family has been so unlucky. He grew up in a small town, far away from all the other regions, isolated from everyone in the civilized world today for being this way. His father used to work for Team Magma before being fired due to incompetence while working there, and was sent away to isolation. We are all led to believe that this was the beginning of the unlucky streak. Now this all happened when Polio was at the age of twelve, so he had very little understanding of what was going on. From this experience he knew he didn't really like Pokemon all that much. From where he was living at the time, there were various storms and heat waves, things you would call "natural disasters", but these things only happened to them, and it was all thanks to Team Magma, who had put them in the remote area.

From this experience, Polio has grown stronger, and a more brave man, when at the age of thirteen, he would swear that his hate for Pokemon should be voided now, and that he should use them for power, like they did against him for his unlucky streak. Polio's dream is to get revenge at Team Magma for what they've done to him and his family, and to use the power of Pokemon to accomplish that.

Personality: Polio is a brave man who has endured the seas and other occuring disasters. This has taught him how to be self reliant and somewhat timid to the fact that something may happen at any moment. This causes him to be ready for anything and know what to do when an unexpected threat comes over to give him a visit. Aside from these traits, Polio is always cautious when meeting new people and Pokemon, and really wants to flesh out their personality and know all about them before talking like a regular person. You could say he is rather a detective on a case with his social skills, but I'll let you be the judge of that. Polio also isn't very talkative, and doesn't like to exert his leader skills, although he does have them. He also has an awkward way of saying things, like going over the top with when he's trying to explain things. He'll probably try to explain so much that even a toddler who is only barely speaking knows what to do in a drastic situation.

Physical Description: Polio is quite tall for his age, even if that age is old. he stands at 6 1/2 feet tall, and is quite the skinny lad as well. Food doesn't come all too often for him, so this explains the skinnyness of him. He has somewhat of a light brown hair, that you could even call it blonde and it wouldn't be wrong. He also needs to shave quite often, so most of the time you'll spot the 5 o'clock shadow around his chin. Since Polio lives in such an unexpected and rugged area, he is capable of wearing layered clothing all the time, so this is what he is accustomed to. His normal outfit tends to be a slightly worn out and torn long-sleeve top in the colour of blue, and a standard t-shirt over the top, with some sort of witty saying, or just an image of something on there. The base of the t-shirt is black, and if I say so myself looks rather dashing. ;D He tends to wear pants which are slightly torn and are baggy, which also have many big pockets for storing things in, like a Pokedex, Pokeballs etc. Polio doesn't like to carry things around in anything that won't be on his person at all times, so he very rarely brings a backpack of any sort.

Pokemon:

Name:
Sunny
Species: Volbeat
Gender: Male
Level: 41
Moves: Protect, Zen Headbutt, Tail Glow, Moonlight

History: Polio had been moving a lot with his Dad working with Team Magma for a time, so he didn't have time to go around seeing Pokemon all that much. The longest time he stood still in one home was in the underbelly of Slateport City, where his Dad was one of the higher-ups behind the Museum case to get the blueprints on one of the Submarines the sailors had been working on. One time his Dad had a day off, and when he came home from the field, a strange Volbeat with a glowing tail followed him, and refused to leave. As a little kid Polio begged his Dad to let him keep it, and he couldn't resist but to say yes to that thing. From this day forward he would be known as Sunny.

Sunny was a strange Volbeat, which would always use Tail Glow at the oddest of times, and couldn't help but do it anyway, Polio had helped him out and played with him everyday so that the Volbeat would love him back, but Sunny was different from the other Volbeat in the world. When Polio was forced to move to the remote area because of his Dad, Sunny was struggling to stay with them and was thinking of flying off back to it's home because of the climate. The first disaster came, and when Sunny was ready to take off, something bad had happened, some waves came crashing in and his wings were clipped and he couldn't fly! He was drowning, and Polio noticed that as well. Despite all of his Dads' warnings he still went after him and after a rough night Sunny was saved. The poor Volbeat felt like he was in debt to Polio, and vowed to stick with him and to help him out, while Polio vowed to become a stronger man and help out those Pokemon in need.

Name: Helios
Species: Poliwhirl
Gender: Male
Level: 36
Moves: Bubblebeam, Hypnosis, Double-Slap, Swagger

History: Being a Poliwhirl for a long, long time he has learnt that he knows how to swim very competently, and was swimming around Polio's home in the remote area, which was quite rare. This is quite some time after he had caught Sunny, so it was rare to see another Pokemon around these parts. The bad thing was that there was a massive heat wave during this time, which has caused the sea level to drop drastically, and that the Poliwhirl was struggling under the intensive sun. Polio would go outside to check up on the heat wave, when he saw a little blue frog-like thing sitting there in the remains of the water, trying to survive. He could tell it was strugging, as the Poliwhirl was using Bubblebeam and failing to do so.

Polio thought it was time to go help out the little fella, so he got Sunny ready to help the guy out, with lots of sun protection and shade. Polio had commanded Sunny to start out with a Moonlight, since he was drastically failing, and the moonlight would bring darkness and nightfall quicker than usual, which was a start. Poliwhirl was dehydrated that even this wouldn't help, so Sunny would try and jump start the Poliwhirl with a Zen Headbutt, which eventually worked. Poliwhirl was able to use Bubblebeam again, and although it was weak, it still hit Sunny and put him in quite a state. For his thanks Poliwhirl had joined up with Sunny and Polio and decided that being with someone who is caring enough towards Pokemon who are in drastic danger would be better than roaming the sea all day long. he has also been named Helios, after the God who is the god of the sun.

RP Sample:
Polio was outside just chilling when there wasn't any disasters happening, and he knew there wouldn't be anytime soon with Sunny and Helios, when he heard something odd, something he doesn't usually hear all the time. He turned around and noticed a Pelipper flying his way with a big bag, who also had a letter in it's mouth, which was addressed to him. He doesn't get mail too often, so he rushes to open it, tearing off the special seal on the back and reading it's contents. There was additional notes attached to the letter, which made him realise that these people knew all about him. Where he lived and everything. He became suspicious and was thinking about the pros and cons of going on this trip, and with the pros outweighing the cons, he decided that this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and took it.

A week had passed on by and Polio, as well as Sunny and Helios were getting prepared for their newest adventure. Polio had finished getting ready, packing his suitcase and backpack with all the essentials that a Pokemon trainer going out on a journey would need. The boat arrived moments after and blew the horn, signalling that they were ready to leave. Polio pulled out Helios' Pokeball and called him back, got all his stuff, and he and Sunny went onto the boat, and were ready to sail. The boat left at a speedily pace off to Slateport city, where there was a big boat off to sail to Vermillion City in a few short moments. The boat Polio was on had arrived at Slateport a little later than expected, and with the invitation in his mouth, and Sunny right behind him, they rushed to the port for the Vermillion boat, which the guards let him on, seeing he was in a rush and also the invitation in his mouth. He found his room and settled along with Sunny, and waited in excitement for the boat to get there.

"You know Sunny, I can tell this is gonna be good, despite my suspicions."

A few days later the boat had arrived at Vermillion city and was wondering around for a bit, never have seen a big city like this before. As the people running the event knew who he was and what he looked like, a mysterious man in a suit and weird-looking blue tie and introduced himself.

"Polio? You seem lost. I am Francis, and these two behind me are Robin and his assistant, Louise. feel free to ask them any questions about the upcoming trip."

Polio, being all suspicious about these activities starts to wildly question Francis. You can see Sunny getting fired up too.

"What? Who are you? What's more about this trip? how do you know what I look like?"

He can tell Francis isn't interested in him, which infuriates him even more. He then starts to get really angrry when Robin butts in for a moment.

"Whoa! Take it easy there Polio. He always does that, seeming uninterested in people and what they do. He's more in this for the money than to socialize with other people. I'm Robin by the way. Maybe you should take a seat over there with the other trainers who are also waiting for the adventure to start. Get to know them a bit more, y'know?"

Polio takes Robin's advice and goes to sit over there with the other trainers. But being a social hermit and not being around people a lot, he decided to sit alone for the time being. One of the trainers noticed him though, and thought to call him over.

"Hey you, over there! Why don't you come join us and we can get to know each other."

Polio thought about this for a minute, and it couldn't hurt to take up the offer, but he did so anyway, and besides, what's the worst that can happen?

--

I hope this is enough to get in, as this RP seems really interesting. Let's just say my RP sample is basically an intro to what would happen, and I want to see how the other characters would respond to my timidness and whatnot. :D

Alternative: This seems okay. Accepted.

Name: Trent Asahoshi
Sex: Male
Age: 17
Length of time spent as a trainer: 3 Years

History:
Trent grew up in the small town of Pallet with both parents. Trent's father Winton was an accomplished trainer, who competed in both the Kanto and Johto leagues. His mother was a local breeder of the Eevee species of pokemon. Due to the background of his parents, Trent grew up with a fierce love for pokemon. Out of his two parents Trent's father influenced him the most. The two did almost everything together, their most memorable activity being their biweekly camping trip in the Viridian forest. It was on those trips that Trent learned the basic survival skills and how to interact with wild pokemon. The most important thing he learned from his father was to treat life like an adventure, and approach every challenge with an open mind.

When at home Trent would focus on studying everything pokemon related. He read all of his mother's books on breeding and pokemon behavior by the age of 13. For his birthday that year Trent's mother gave him his first pokemon, an eevee. For the next year Trent spent most of his time with the pokemon, training and getting to know it. His father also taught him and the eevee the basics of trainer and wild pokemon battles. When his 14th birthday came around Trent left his home and headed down the familiar trail to Viridian knowing he would not come home for some time.

Personality:
Trent can personality in one word can be described as interesting. He is the person who is usually acting out in some goofy way. Though some may deem him awkward because of it, it is this personality trait that separates him from the rest. Trent is able to look at a plain situation and make it exciting. This can mostly be seen when he is engaged in battle. Other than this Trent is a normally cheerful type of person, perhaps even overoptimistic. He tends to always look for the silver lining with every negative situation, which reflects his father if anything. Finally the last distinguishing characteristic of Trent is his charisma. He has no problem being the center of attention, as through most of his travels his antics have caused this. He has no trouble talking to new people and making friends with both people and pokemon alike. In the end Trent is just a regular kid trying to make something of himself.

Physical Description:
Trent stands at about 5'11 and weighs around 126lbs. He has gentle emerald green eyes that most say can make the most malicious men show compassion. His hair is maroon in color and falls down to about ears all around. He keeps the front in short bangs to keep his hair from obstructing his vision. As far as clothing goes Trent generally wears a pair of slightly faded blue, baggy jeans. He also wears a loose black shirt under an open dark red jacket that falls a few inches above his knees. The jacket was a hand sewn by Trent's great grandfather in his youth. The jacket has roughly a dozen stars lining the bottom, with a small sun on the back. The sleeves are elbow length with open cufflinks.

Trent also sports several accessories his favorite being his roller blades that he keeps strapped to the outside of his knapsack. The contents on the brown bag include first aid supplies, a space blanket and a sleeping bag. On his right hand he sports a black fingerless glove which stays on because of a silver ring on his middle finger its attached to. Trent uses his belt to carry pokeballs as it has a special material for keeping them attached without fail.

Pokemon:
Name: Crimson
Species: Umbreon
Gender: Female
Level: 41

History: Trent's first and most loyal pokemon. Trent received Crimson from his mother at age 13 as a gift for showing great interest in pokemon. The two became friends very quickly over the next year as well as over their journey. Crimson evolved after an encounter with a wild Nidorino. Since then Crimson became very protective of not only Trent but all of his other pokemon. The Umbreon will jump in the fray without question if it means defending a comrade. Not only this but Crimson will also help tend to the other pokemon if injured in any way it can.

Name: Maxi
Species: Golem
Gender: Male
Level: 38

History: Golem was captured relatively early in Trent's journey as a geodude in mount moon. This geodude in particular proved to be a handful during training. It's overly aggressive nature led to many serious injuries for opponent's pokemon. On occasion geodude would even lash out against Trent. On one occasion Crimson jumped I to protect Trent greatly injuring the geodude. Though Maxi's temperament has calmed down with its growth, he occasionally shows his aggression in battles with his feats of strength.

Name: Clay
Species: Staryu
Gender: Male
Level: 34

History: Staryu is Trent's black sheep pokemon. Lily was captured on Route 19during one of Trent's training sessions. The pokemon never really seemed to get attached to Trent during their journey, and tend to not show any real emotions. Although it is an obedient pokemon, Trent often tries to get some personality to show from the water pokemon. The only time the pokemon seems to even be energetic is at night, especially during full moons. A side not about this Staryu is that it is an exceptionally strong swimmer, making its fighting in the water fierce.

Name: Lola
Species: Heracross
Gender: Female
Level: 33

History: Trent received Lola from a trade roughly midway through his journey in Celadon City. The trainer told Trent that he had rescued the pokemon from poachers on his travels through Johto. The pokemon was very shy and tends to keep away from new people. Since the Trent showed promise the man traded it for a Primeape that Trent had previously captured. Heracross over time has warmed up to Trent though it still expresses signs of fear on occasion. Lola prefers not to battle as it seems to not like confrontation at all. However, if one of its own is hurt it will fight to protect them, in fear of losing a friend.

RP Sample:
"It certainly has been a while since we last came here huh Maxi?" inquired the maroon haired boy to the pokemon beneath him. The rock pokemon let out a small grunt as it continued to roll down the street, Trent balancing atop. "I know, it's only a little while longer, besides this can count as training in a sense." The pokemon let out another grunt of frustration before coming to an abrupt halt. "Alright have it your way." Trent said hopping off of the pokemon's back. Taking a quick glance at his surroundings, Trent noticed that quite a few people were watching him. He tried to pay them no mind as he attempted to remember how to get to the docks. "There we go!" he exclaimed gesturing to a sign in the distance. "We just have to head south a little bit more." The two continued to follow the road, Trent's jacket flapping behind him from the wind. The smell of the ocean got stronger as they neared the pier. When they finally arrived a man in a cream suit approached them rather hurriedly.

"Judging from your attire, I'm assuming that you are Trent Asahoshi" said the unfamiliar man. "I'm Francis, if you would please check off all of the items on this list that you have brought." The man then handed Trent the list with a pen and watched as he quickly ran through the list marking the items he had in his backpack.

"Here you go" said Trent handing the man the paper nervously. "So can you tell me…"before Trent could finish his question the man had walked off and started to stare in to the sky. "That wasn't very sociable now was it?" Trent mumbled to his pokemon.

"I don't think it was either, but you'll have to excuse Francis. He can get rather caught up with whatever it is he is working on" Said another unfamiliar person who was now approaching Trent. The man was wearing a white t-shirt, jacket and khaki pants. From his appearance Trent believed that he must not care about how people view him too much, as even his hair looked rather unkempt. "Hello, I'm robin" said the man shaking Trent's hand.

"I'm Trent Asahoshi, nice to meet you" replied the boy his golem letting out a small sigh.

"Okay I'll just check off your name then. If you have any questions feel free to ask me or one of the others supervising the trip." Robin then gestured to Francis and the Red-head who seemed to be fighting with her laptop. "Anyway try to relax, you have a lot of work to look forward to on this trip" Robin then walked off and took a seat next to the girl with the ponytail.

Trent walked to the end of the dock and sat down dangling his legs off the edge. Maxi sat next to him, lowered his head and the closed his eyes. "Hope we know what we are getting into Maxi" said Trent as he started to stare out into the water.

poison snivy, it's sad to see that you didn't really listen to what I said. You're still missing a lot of what I asked for. Not accepted.

Kay11190: Sorry, I must have posted right after you did. I'll read your post and edit this one in a moment with my reply. EDIT: Good, accepted.

Sorry about not being able to finish or do half of my SU today. If it's okay with you, I promise to finish by tomorrow...

It's not a problem, though within the next few days I'll be giving the 24 hours notice of closure for sign-ups (those who have reserved will get an extra 24 hours on top of that to complete their sign-ups).

But I'll leave it a day or two longer before giving notice.

Name: Harigold Miller, but his friends call him Harry.

Sex: Male

Age: 16

Length of time spent as a trainer:

Harigold started being a Trainer back in Hoenn, where his dad gave him his first Pokémon. He spent a year there earning badges. He eventually moved to Kanto when his father moved there as well. He has been traveling around Kanto for a 5 years. On one of those years, he also reached Tohjo falls. He moved quite slow though, so that he'll be able to train his Pokémon more efficiently.

History:

Harry was born in Mossdeep City. His mother died after giving birth to him, and because of this his dad treasures him most. His dad took him to Shoal Cave when he was 11. It was a low tide back then, so they were able to go deeper; down to where Snorunt can be found. A Snorunt tried to attack them when they tried to pick up a berry that belongs to that same Snorunt. Because of that, his father tried to capture the Snorunt, and achieved success. His father doesn't have any interest in training Snorunt, though, so he gave it to Harry. Harry started to train and started to travel around Hoenn, defeating 2 gyms.

Unfortunately though, they have to move to Kanto because his dad found a better job there. They moved to Pewter City, and his dad's job was at the museum. He continued his journey in Kanto and captured a few Pokémon. His Snorunt also evolved during his journey around Kanto. Eventually, he arrived at Tohjo falls. There he met another trainer named Kayley. They traveled together until Kayley have to come back home to Sinnoh.

Personality:

Harry is a rather cheerful, friendly and optimistic person. He prefers being with friends and Pokémon. Whenever things might seem gloomy, Harry is always there to cheer everyone up. He is also a smart kid, considering that for the 4 years that he had been studying at school he was the smartest in his class. Harry also has an attitude to defend his opinions whether they seem wrong or right. No-one wanted to argue with him because they knew that they would just be showered with words explaining why he is correct.

Physical description:

Harry is a tanned male. He was 5'8" last time he checked. He likes to wear a yellow long sleeve shirt, with a black vest on top. He also wears a golden jogging pants with black lining in the side. His shoes was black. He had no cap nor bandanna. He likes to swing his hair through the wind. his hair is straight black with golden highlights. He has a bagpack, with only one strap. It doesn't have any particular design except that it was green and it has a picture of a Snorunt in the left side pocket.

Pokemon:

Pokémon: Glalie
Nickname: Da'd (pronounced as Da ad)
Gender: Male
Level: 42

This Glalie looks like any other Glalie. Harry got it on Shoal Cave when he and his father found it. It recently just evolved, but its not really great when it comes to offense. Still, Da'd is a strong opponent to face. When it comes to battles, he puts on a brave face. And yes, it helps him concentrate. His favorite move, the one that he showed Harry after it was captures, is Ice beam. Da'd never gets tired of using that move, and sometimes would not follow orders just to use it.

Back when it was a Snorunt, Da'd likes hugging. He still does until now and would sometimes carefully tackle Harry as a sign of happiness. When angered, Da'd might start a hail storm as it becomes very furious. Like that one time when a trainer started to tease Harry, and Da'd was still a Snorunt back then, it started to hail and it only hailed at the place where the trainer was standing. It was quite an ability for Da'd and since then Harry trained it to use that move.

Pokémon: Pidgeotto
Nickname: Sharm
Gender: Female
Level: 30

Harry caught Sharm as a Pidgey on the outskirts of Pewter City when they first moved. The Pidgey was rather cheerful. Sharm likes to get backrides from Harry when it evolved. It carries Harry through the air, taking the travel time between cities shorter.

Sharm is quite an extraordinary battler. It glides and pecks on opponents and dodges attacks that is super effective against her. Whenever she would be knocked down on the ground, it would start a strong gust until she has stood up, almost knocking down her opponent.

Other:

Harry likes to daydream a lot. He is linguistic, knowing 10 languages all-in-all. He likes Spanish most of all.

RP Sample:

There were people at the port. They felt a quite strong wind coming. Behind them landed a Pidgeotto, and a trainer was on its back.

"Woah there girl!" said the boy. He came down and brought out a Pokéball.

"Return!" he shouted, "Thanks for the ride, now is time for you to rest."

The boy looked at everyone and started to introduce himself to the crowd.

"Hi everyone!" the boy started, "My name is Harigold Miller, but you can call me Harry."

Everyone waved, well almost everyone. He noticed the girl that was on a laptop. He walked closer to her and looked at what she was doing. The girl noticed him as he crept his face closer to hers. She started to blush.

"Hi there, my name's Harry!" Harry exclaimed, "Might I know yours?"

"My name's Louise." the girl stated, "I need to get back to my laptop now. I worry that it may overheat when we get to the island."

"Fine, I was just asking your name." said Harry, and walked away.

Harry noticed a man that is quickly running to him.

"Good morning, I'm Francis!" said the man, "I'm just here to ask if you've gotten everything that we asked you to bring?"

"Well, yeah." Harry answered.

"Okay." after that answer, Francis just walks away.

Harry noticed another man approaching him. This time, the man was carrying a clip-board.

This must be the guy who takes the names. Harry thought to himself.

"Good morning, sir!" said the guy with the clip board, "Would it bother you if I ask your name?"

"No not at all!" answered Harry, "My name's Harigold Miller."

"Thank you very much," answered the man. He then ticks on the paper that is on top of the clip-board. "My name is Robin, by the way. Nice to meet you." He then proceeds to shake hands with Harry and walks away.

Wow, what wonderful people! I think I will have a good time at Saliplan Island. Harry thought to himself, I can't wait to start another adventure!

Probably the first time I'm RPing in this forum. Wish me luck!

Ok, I've added the Roleplay sample, so I'll be waiting for the final verdict on my Sign-up. I'll stay up to date on things.

Not finished yet.

Name:
Gordon Beckerling
Sex:
Male
Age:
18
Length of time spent as a trainer:
About 11 months. He's rather new, that means. But don't judge him for that.

History:
Born in a wealthy upper class family in Celadon, Gordon has often gotten things he wanted served on a silver plate. He had money, he had a butler, he had fancy clothes and he even had girlfriends from time to time. But there was something his family had never had; pokémon. For some reason, Gordon grew increasingly interested in these creatures as the years passed. It was a secret passion. He was looking to others like a stylish, controlled young man, but inside he was passionately intrigued by the powers the pokémon possessed. You might say he was a fan still in the closet.

His rather thin mother was spoiled and easily annoyed. His rather fat father came from an old noble family, but most of their riches actually came from an invention Gordon's father had made when younger, and which he now made people pay to use. He also was in the corporate governance of a large pokéball factory positioned in Celadon. Gordon had two sisters, one older and one younger. He was in between, but he wasn't a quiet, kind middle-child. He was the only boy and he was making the most out of that. He was clearly his father's favorite child and even though his sister was older than him, it appeared as his father entrusted more about his corporate life to Gordon. For this, Gordon endlessly teased his older sister. He never teased her younger sister though, as she was sickly and frail and would never be able to compete with her younger siblings.

At the age of 16, though, his secret passion became to large to bear. Gordon approached her mother one day and told her about him liking pokémon and wanting one of his own. She first thought he was crazy, but then agreed on getting a pet. He didn't dare to say that wasn't what he had planned. His father didn't like the idea of just a pokémon pet, but rather thought they should buy a well bred watchdog. In the end, the persistent mother won, and they bought an expensive female Eevee from a renowned pokémon breeder.

Gordon secretly spent time alone with Eevee, finding out about its attacks and abilities as a battler. He at last realized he had befriended the creature, and that was what made him decide it was time. He would go on a pokémon journey... as a trainer! His parents scorned him, his mother thinking it was barbaric and his father thinking Gordon threw away his great chance to get a job on his company. His big sister supported him, but Gordon saw through it; she mostly wanted him gone so she could get their father's attention instead. His younger sister supported him for real though. She encouraged him and was proud of him. She also knew Gordon didn't have many close friends either; sure some liked spending time with him, but most people did it because they saw the good things about being friends with a rich person. Finally, Gordon did set off, and he took Eevee with him.

They traveled across Kanto to find trainers to compete with, competitions to enter, pokémon to catch and eventually gyms to battle. After getting his fourth badge, the Celadon gym badge, he went home to his family to show what had become of him. They admitted he had succeeded in what he said he would do, and as his father told him he was actually proud, his older sister squeezed her knuckles in suppressed anger.

Gordon had been living at home for a month when he got the invitation to protect excavators on Saliplan Island. He accepted the proposition, seeing it as another competition to enter.

Personality:
Ah, Gordon's personality. Firstly, he is rich. And that gives him a self confidence above the usual. He's abruptly scrapped of it when he faces problems money can't solve though, at least for a while, until his brains start working on their own. In battle, Gordon usually keeps his head cool and uses tactics rather than brute force, unless there are girls to impress in the area when he can get a little more hot-headed.

He's flirting with girls pretty often, as he is pretty good looking with great skin, deep violet eyes and shining, black hair, and he knows it. This makes other boys a bit annoyed with him or even mad at him sometimes though. He used to be somewhat of a coward, covering easily and giving up quickly, but since he decided to become a pokémon trainer, he has started to become more resolved when trying to reach his goals. At least started.

He is humorous when he feels like it, but that's mostly to intimidate or impress others. Under normal conditions, he is pretty energetic and likes to push forward. But when things get serious, so does he, even though it might take a while. If he ever let someone in as closely as he has let his younger sister in, they would realize he is a person of many suppressed dreams underneath the surface of a cocky, wealthy boy.

Physical description:
I can't post links, but he looks like the "rich boy" in the D/P games, only his pants are dark and not white.

Meaning, he is average height, not too tall, and the first thing you notice about him, apart from his expensive clothing from famous brands, is his shining black hair, cut in a fashionable haircut he's been trying to keep as good as possible on his journey.
It's rather long for being a guy's hair, and his fringe goes down suggestively over his forehead, letting his intensively purple eyes shine from underneath.

He isn't muscular; although he was popular in a football team in school, he never really exercised much and maybe only got that popular spot because he was rich. He prefers to let his pokémon do the work and be the brains behind them.

When dressed casually, he wears a rather proper, blue shirt together with black, in fashion trousers. He has been known to wear a striped golden tie when he goes up against gym leaders. He wears a high quality watch on his left arm, a gift from his father, and a thin necklace with a tiny silver anchor dangling from it, which he got from his little sister. He wears it underneath his shirt, so it's not visible unless you're really looking for it.

Pokemon:
Sandslash, Venonat, Flareon.

Flareon:
level 36. The Eevee from his parents. Being rich as he was, he bought a fire stone and evolved it before taking on the Celadon gym. Flareon is generally quick-witted and quick on her feet. She has strong fire attacks and pretty strong physical attacks, average special defence and not so good physical defence. This, she sometimes counter by using the Attract attack she seems to always have known. Gordon suspected it was taught by her breeder. She is often kept outside her pokéball, since she was a pet for long enough to become comfortable outside it and doesn't really want to go back in. She and Gordon understands each other easily and seem to share some kind of emotional bond.

Sandslash:
level 40. Caught as a Sandshrew outside Pewter City. It's strength and DIG attack helped defeat Brock the gym leader. He evolved when they were training hard before the gym battle in Vermilion. Sandslash is the physical fighter in the group and his sharp, strong claws can cut away anything. His Digging ability is useful for surprising enemies and when he curls up, he can withstand both physical and special attacks rather well. As a "person", Sandslash is pretty quiet, although he can be stubborn if something really matters to him. Gordon trusts him, even though they have had their differences sometimes. Sandslash probably wouldn't let anything harm Gordon.

Venomoth:
level 33. Caught north of Cerulean, Venonat was somewhat of a rogue in the beginning, not really wanting to obey Gordon or be friendly with the others. Eventually, Gordon realized Venonat wasn't being mean but rather afraid. He's a bit shy and didn't have a great self-confidence in the beginning, but as he has trained a lot with Gordon now, he has become a lot more sure of himself, especially in battles. He evolved in the battle with Erika, being the main reason Gordon won that badge, since Flareon had been knocked out. Venomoth looks up to Gordon, who is a strong leader in the pokémon's eyes. His numerous dust-techniques are useful in battles, as well as his Psychic abilities.

Other:
Since Gordon has money, he has probably given his pokémon quite a few TMs... I can limit it to one or two (or three, like you said earlier) per pokémon though.

RP Sample:
Gordon arrived at the port in Vermilion, not too late but not too early either. He checked his expensive watch; there was still some time left before the boat would depart. Excellent, he thought and put on his flawless smile as he walked up to the group of people standing together in the harbor. Flareon was skipping along beside him.

When he got to them, he contemplated for a split second about acting rashly and eagerly or calm and collected... and settled for the latter. He took a posture he would describe as "mysterious but charming", and looked the group over to see who he was supposed to talk to. One man, looking quite stern, waved at him. Not in the "hi, how are you" way, but in the "come over here, it's an order" way. Gordon flashed a little smile and obliged.

"I assume you are here for the Saliplan expedition," the man said when Gordon came closer.

"Indeed I am, sir," Gordon said, still with a teethy smile.

"I am Francis and I will be coming with you. Please take this list and make sure you've got everything you need," he said and shoved a huge list of things in Gordon's hands.

Gordon blew a tiny whistle before eyeing the list. He didn't notice someone else was watching him until Flareon tugged his leg. Gordon looked up and saw another man. This was, luckily, smiling back at him.

"Well, hello there," the new man said. "I'm Robin, I'll be your coordinator on this mission. So, what is your name?"

And he put up another huge list on a clipboard. Gordon raised his eyebrows but answered: "I'm Gordon Beckerling."

Robin looked for his name for a second, then shone up, checked it off and looked up again, still smiling widely. "All set, then! We'll be leaving soon, we'll just wait for the rest of the members to join the group."

"Fair enough," Gordon said and made a sort of bow to Robin, a bit jokingly.

As the coordinator walked away again to address someone else, Gordon took a look around at the other people. Flareon tried to jump onto his back, startling him.

"Hey, girl," he said, pushing it back down onto the ground. "You grew a lot when you evolved, remember? I can't carry you around like when you were an Eevee; you're at least thrice the size now!"

Flareon seemed to mope about this, but Gordon laughed a little and patted her on the head before resuming his examination of the others. There was one girl who was sitting cross legged with a laptop. She swore and seemed to be in some kind of stress. When she noticed he was looking at her - he was standing pretty close to her after all - she flashed him an uninterested smile before turning back to her laptop again. Hm, not an easy prey there, Gordon sighed within.

Sitting on a bench closer to the sea was a younger man. A boy even. He seemed to just be sitting there, enjoying himself with the sea breeze in his face. It looked quite... boring. Gordon shook his head with a gleeful smile. The boy's three pokémon, as Gordon assumed they were, were sitting beside him, seemingly doing the same boring thing as their trainer was. There was also a tall, skinny man who looked rather suspicious, and another guy who looked like he was more like the same age as Gordon was. The latter was sitting by the edge of the dock, dangling his feet over the water. Gordon would probably have approached him and tried to look cool, if a giant Golem hadn't been standing next to the young man. It looked quite intimidating.

There was another bunch of people as well, one guy which looked weirdly proud of himself - almost goofy - and another guy who was looking rather plain, a Mightyena standing by his side. Well, Gordon guessed he did have some kind of serious aura about him that was quite interesting. And... and then Gordon spotted the girl. A red head, freckles and dimples as she was smiling, small curls in her hair, radiating cheerfulness... and a menacing looking Kabutops standing behind her. Man, Gordon's heart skipped a beat. Now, that was some girl! Not like that other red-head with her laptop and irritation. Gordon involuntarily put on his cheesiest smile and decided to simply walk closer slowly. He blinked to Flareon and nodded almost unnoticeable towards the cute red-head with the badass Kabutops. Flareon got the hint. She'd been pulling this move several times before.

Flareon jumped away, pretending to be running away from Gordon to play, straight towards the girl. Gordon forced himself to look worried, and started to rapidly follow the "stray" Flareon...
