[Sword & Shield] Is it impossible to find a hidden ability Espurr/Meowstic?

Hi there,
Recently I've been tempted to make a pair of competitive Meowstic (Not exactly top tier, I know) but to create the build I want I need their hidden abilities. Looking online however it seems like neither Espurr or Meowstic can be caught with their hidden abilities in Sw/Sh, at least not that I've seen.

So far I've:
Looked up if its available in raids and unless I've missed something, Serebii says raid Esp/Meow have their base abilities.
Caught random Espurr in case it was a random chance thing
looked up if you can cross-breed pokemon with the ability to "unlock" it on a Espurr. From what I've read this isn't a feature and is thus impossible. I figured it was worth looking up anyway.

So before I go crazy I thought I'd ask outright if anyone knows of a way to get it and if the information I've found is right. It seems bizarre that most other pokemon have their hidden abilities available in at least one specific place but Espurr doesn't. It isn't the end of the world if it's unavailable, I just want to know for sure.

Yep, looks like Espurr and Meowtic do not have their hidden ability available through Raid Battles.
Looks like the only way to get a hidden ability Espurr is through the Friend Safari in X/Y and transferring up when Home comes out.
