Is it just me or do I sense a pattern?

    Ok, check this out:
Misty, Brock, and Ash go on an adventure to a League.
    League Ends
    Brock leaves
    Tracy comes.
Tracy, Misty, and Ash go on an adventure to a League.
    League ends.
    Tracy leaves.
    Brock comes back.
Brock, Misty, and Ash go on an adventure to a League
    League ends.
    Misty leaves.
    May comes.
May, Brock, and Ash(Max too) go on an adventure to a League

See where I'm getting at? Ever since I noticed this, I think that there are 3 'adventures' left for Ash. After Hoenn, the 4th Generation Pokemon will come out, and he, Brock, and Misty will go on an adventure, and maybe, after that, the anime will be over if Nintendo decides to end it for Pokemon, (I think that as long as there's a game, there'll be a show) OR there'll be a new season switching (Ash?) with a new character, and finally, after that, there'll be a Final Saga season where Ash, Misty and Brock go to one last region and either will have 5th Generation or all of the Pokemon to finish off Pokemon as we know it with a big bang.

Remember, this is just a theory so don't take it too seriously, but I'm almost assured that there's either 1 or 3 more seasons left based on what I've learned with the whole 'Switch Partners' concept.

Im guessing it could be called a pattern, i just think the creators get bored with the characters they have so they take old characters out and replace them, then they get replaced and the originals come back =P

o_0 scary. XD yes we realized Pokemon can be very repetitive at times XD

Wait, you guys didn't realize that Pok?mon couldn't get repetative until now?

Anyways, the only reason why I think they actually switch out the characters is because of the longivity of the show. Since having somebody in the group for the longest time will get people to get quite bored fast. Sometimes, it's a good thing they do switch out. For example, iIf Misty were to stay in the series for much longer, somebody's bound to dislike her instead of being a fan (someone like me). Since I'm a guy that believes in balance, I believe the old saying 'having too much of a good thing can become bad'.

Besides, I doubt the series would end anytime soon, so we'd have plenty of chances to see Ash's old friends at least once in a while.

um.. i think that it was just a coincidence that such pattern exists... because theres always a reasonable story behind each character's departure...
