Is it me or is the Battle Dimension Theme Tune not very Pokémon theme tune like?

I hope people understand what i mean...btw i mean the English version.

I like all the other themes, what are peoples favourites?

It just doesn't seem like a Pokémon theme type song if there is such a thing......am i alone in this thought?

I dont think it really matters....Just add in the word Pokemon and it becomes a theme song

I know what you mean. I think the word 'Pokémon' is sung once in the whole song. Doesn't stick in the head like others. Give me the full length original Pokémon theme anyday!

Definatley agreed, the origonal is by far the best, and the lastest the worst.

Ah, I can't listen to the 1st opening at all. It makes me sick. Too many repeats. While I was watching Indigo League on DVD I had to skip it because of repeats I watched 8 years ago o.O

I like the newest opening the best, there's no yelling Pokemon every 5 seconds (hi DP rap which says "Pokemon" the most amount of times despite being 2nd shortest) makes it seem really dumb, I think. The second best is Advanced Battle and then Advanced Challenge, they're both really cool. The worst is easily the DP opening, which I think has to be the only one that doesn't seem to fit Pokemon.

The Japanese one's are bit more variying in song style than the dub, I think, whereas the dub seem to keep the same type of style, especially openings 5-8 for the dub.

No way! I love that one as well, why would you be killed for that...btw if you listen to that one in the dark with headphones it's really weird.....I'm not a freak I swear.

I think the Chorus of Battle Frontier gets stuck in your head really easily and can get annoying.

Btw what would people think if season 12 was Black/Death Metal, which would be so funny and probably awesome!!!!

I like openings that use the word pokemon a lot less, since it gives it a sense of an actual theme song....Dp opening was horrible, and some others that overused it.

It's about one of the longest, the first few are about a minute long. But I can see why some people would like it best because it's the most serious dub song out of all of them, I think

The new song is better than the 10th opening, I wonder if theres a full verison of BD song (not the movie version). Thats one of the things that annoyed me was I was looking foward to hear the full version of the rap on Movie 10 but the do a new song then everybody guessed that, that would be the theme song for Season 11. I do like Orginal theme very much but I can see its annoying if you watch the dvds and have to skip (I havent started watching mine yet) Season 3 Opening is class even Opening 4, when it goes "My hole life is meant to this.." awsomeness. One of my best songs is Opening 8? How come no one hasent mentiond thta yet, even the full version of the film is Amazing. Yea so if you read al this I do like them all lol exept its gone but down hill since they left 4Kids.

Apparently, the Japanese think English is cool. If you watch anime in Japanese, if you listen out for it you'll notice they'll say a random word or phrase in English. Some of the characters say English more than others, though. I've noticed that Ash says "thank you" every now and again XD Unless I've misheard and it's actually Japanese. So anyway, that's the reason they have random English phrases sometimes in their openings. So it's not that they don't have the words for "Good, good smile", they just think it sounds cool XD

Anyway, My favorite theme song has to be Johto Journeys (Season 3). It's so upbeat and it was awesome back when I first watched it on Kids WB a long way back.
