Is it possible to get all three starter pokemon without using codes or trading with other game paks? It's possible in other games, so I thought that maybe it would work in this game pak...

You can. You need 2 copies and 2 GBA's and 2 wireless addapters...

    o_O?

How do you do it in other games??

I forgot. Somthing with saving and turning it off. Look around the site, I think they have it here.

I've done that in g/s/c. Save right before you choose a pokemon. Get the first pokemon, deposit it, and switch boxes. Then while it's in the middle of saving, turn it off. Turn it on and you'll get to choose your pokemon again, but the one you chose before is in your PC box.

I don't think that would work in r/s or fr/lg, since when you change boxes it doesn't save anymore.

No, what you do is on your main game(lets say fire) You pick a Bulbasaur, get the pokedex, then go out and catch any random pokemon then to a Pokemon Center and save. Now, on your leaf Green, start a new game and get Charmander! Now, get the pokedex and and go to the Pokemon Center, save, then trade the charmander for the random pokemon you caught. Now you have 2 starters. Now just go catch another random pokemon and do it again for squirtle.

This is why you have one game store 2 sets of the 3 starters (holding 2 Charmander, 2 Bulbasaur, 2 Squirtle). Trade one set back to the other game, and voila, both games have all 3 starters. I really should have done that for Ruby/Sapphire, I want a Treecko and Mudkip but me or my friend has to start again to get one (and neither of us wants to do that).

Anyone living in England willing to give me a Mudkip or Treecko egg? LOL

I dont know if you cosider trading them back to ruby or sapphire cheating but thats how I would do it
