It's the first 3D battling game featuring all of the new Pokemon. But you should buy the Wii for other games as well. There are going to be more Pokemon games for the WiiWare and future ones as well, so buy it

i was looking for the same question before i asked it, so it's good to know that other people are in the same situation. Apart from I already have a wii. Some people were saying that PBR isnt worth the money unless you have d/p. Also, does it work with Platinum? Because that's the only one I have. :)
 
Yes, it works with Platinum. It just won't show the new formes.

If I were you, I would buy a used copy. It isn't worth 50 dollars and the rental pokemon are terrible, so it's best if you have DPPt.
 
Last time I tried Platinum on PBR, it wouldn't recognize the game...Even with new files and what not. But that might just be me and my goofy game system. xD

PBR is fun up to a point: The only fun way to play is to have a DS game, and when you go online, expect a Darkrai every other battle. And always be ready for an uber pokemon of some sort. YOU WILL ALWAYS FIND ONE. It's REALLY annoying at times.

Still a pretty good game though, I love most of the outfits you can dress your character in. My absolute favorite is City Outfit A. It's sweet.
 
the only good thing about it is the wi-fi the rest in my opinion arnt good....even with diamond or pearl...
 
Okay I've bought it online, but now im kinda getting worried after Rocker said his platinum didnt work with it. Some sites said it does, others says it doesnt.

it will only not work if your Pokemon platinum is a different region
