Is my Bagon good?

Hey there. I sat 2 hours on my GBSP, trying to get an Adamant nature Bagon. After 2 hours, I caught an Adamant Bagon. Now, his IV's are great. He is fresh without EP, Level 25.

Here are his IV's (I went by the Serebi IV Calculator, and the numbers I write are the average of what it could be, but it only varies by 3 stats so it's a really close call)

HP 30
ATK 27
DEF 29
SP.ATK 29
SP.DEF 17
SPEED 5

Now, by what I see his EV's are near perfect, so I got really lucky, BUT Salamence is meant to be a sweeper, and his speed IV is only 5. Although, his HP is Furiously High, his ATK is near perfect, and his DEF can really block other Salamences, although he probably wont go first.

So, is this Bagon worthy to continue? If so, which EV's should I be adding?
252 ATK, 252 SPD, 6 HP?

Do the EV Power ups (Calcium, Protein and that) hurt the progress somehow? Because if not, I can save myself tons of battles and only fight like 300 instead of 500.

The vitamins like Calcium and Protein give 10 evs per item and it doesn't hamper the pokemon in any way.

I'd day go for it! I'm not exactly an expert and I've STILL yet to get a working team sorted out but by the looks of things its good!
You might want to consider giving it a choice scarf or something to help it's speed though

Five speed IVs make it not worth it, though if you're not play competitively it doesn't really matter.
