Is "My Pokemon Ranch" any good?

I was thinking about getting it, but since you can't start a new game and get your pokemon back, it's really just a fancy storage device right?

Are there any feature I'm overlooking and is it worth 1000 Wii points?

I hope you're aware that it isn't compatible with Platinum. It's still not worth it anyway IMO. :/

Yes, all it is is a large storage game, but put enough pokemon in it and you get some Event pokemon. Even so, it's only fun to watch a 1000 pokemon march by your screen in parade mode.
