[Pricing] Is my sons card worth anything?

My son got his first Pokemon pack for his birthday today. I have never been into Pokemon so I have no idea about any of this. He got a shiny Charizard Vmax. Is this card actually worth 3-400 dollars?

Oh wow! That's a good $200-$300 card right there! If you can, and if it's rated high enough by PSA (a 9 or a 10), you could easily be holding a $700 card there.

Definitely get a hard case, touch it with bare hands as little as possible, don't cause battle wear to the corners, and keep it out of direct sunlight (as is reasonable).

That's the PSA site I mentioned, see what they're willing to do for you. Personally though, I'd horde that little nugget of treasure away with the rest of my collection lol.
