    i just got a 10 anniveresery off the gts....its org. trianer is 10anniv and its id is 06227. it arrived at hoenn at lvl 70. its also shiny(i think), its hair(on its back) is blue instead of purple. if it is legit, anyone interested in it?
     
    If it has a star next (on the right) to it's image, then it's shiny. As far as I know, no 10th anniversary pokemon were shiny since Nintendo controlled the distribution.
     
    it does have a star...so it is shiny, now the question is is it legit
     
    The name and Id number are legit for the UK tour, but as for it being shiny that might or might not be.

    Thats what I was wondering too when a friend of mine gave me his due to quitting the game. Its most likely legitm because there WERE shinys given out at the 10 aniv.

    Why would Nintendo give out shinies to "special" individuals? All the little kids would then be crying over how they didn't get one and then a riot would pretty much start from there. To make things fair and avoid the fuss, Nintendo would just not give shinies for that event. In D/P games that change because SR is possible giving everyone an equal fair chance of obtaining a shiny event.
     
    There are no shiny 10ANIV pokes- It was set data and not open to shininess. The only things that could change were IVs.

    Im afraid that this is infact a hack.
     
    Gofre is right - No Shiny 10th Anniversary Pokémon were given away. If you need to know if any more Pokemon are legit, then please use the Q&A thread in the main forum.
