So many people tell me to put N in my deck, and I have,
But most of the time it just gives my opponent a new hand he needs, unless its played on the first turn.

I try to use it when my opponent took most of his prize cards, although cutting my opponent down to 1 card doesn't stop his active pokemon.

    I really don't get it...~_~

Its use is somewhat situational... it's supposed to help you refresh your hand if it's essentially a dead hand while disrupting your opponent's meticulously curated hand in the early game. In the late game, it's supposed to disrupt your opponent's hand while giving you a fresh set of cards to work with.

Basically, its best aspect is the disruption by forcing your opponent to change out their hand. Disruption is a rare thing the the TCG, so it's inherently valuable, especially if it benefits you in addition to being disruptive.

N its all about timing and luck, and its a very good hand Refresher card..
i mean yeah it gives your oopponent's a new hand but allmost every good card has a down side.
and its alot better from other supporter cards...well sometimes..
here is some Situations that N can be very helpful :
1.let say it is your first turn and you draw a very bad hand, 1 pokemon , 5 energys , 1 N and 1 professor juniper .. You do not want to throw out all this energys so you use N - you get to keep the energys and draw some new cards

2.your opponent's has only 1 prize card left and alot of cards in his hand.. next turn he is going to attach the energy card he needed to use his attack and win the game.
you use N take him down to 1 card and the next couple of turns he cant draw any energys and in that time you take out all of his pokemon and win the game.

3.luck - sometimes your opponent has the best hand ever..all the cards that he need is in his hand right now.
you use N and change the game Completely for your opponent..he draw's the worst cards ever after you N him and cant do anything that he wanted to before you N him,
and that N maybe well give you the win.

4.timing - N become useless when you have 1-2 prize left and your oppenent has 5-6 prize cards..but he become the best card ever if you have 5-6 prize cards and your opponent have 1-2 prize cards..so just know when to use it.

there are a few more Reasons why N can be helpful but i think you got my point :)

I usually have 2 N in my deck. I do not really enjoy giving my opponent a new hand. Since usually in my experience I rather grab 7 cards with juniper or something like that.

However late game it is pretty great as they said. Bringing your opponent down to such a low hand size can be game winning.

So having 2 is pretty decent for me. i rarely wish i had another N in my deck. But it still gives me the possibility to draw into at the right time.

From my experience Shaymin EX and N can turn a guaranteed lost into an easy win

I always enjoy a low N count. I am actually thinking about replacing N with colress in my decks, Because more times than not, N hurts you. You take prize cards too, but it is really a late game card. Some people Love N, but others (Myself included) dislike it.

I'm not sure I'm seeing how Colress is much better, even with the Catcher nerf. Have bench counts really gone up that dramatically since the Catcher nerf?

Well, you have those raichu decks out there.
    They need full benches.

    and then decks with many stage 2's on the bench, like FRF Machamp, fill the bench. N̶o̶t̶ ̶l̶i̶k̶e̶ ̶F̶u̶r̶i̶o̶u̶s̶ ̶F̶i̶s̶t̶s̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶l̶e̶g̶a̶l̶ ̶y̶e̶t̶,̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶y̶e̶a̶h̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶s̶t̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶c̶o̶u̶n̶t̶s̶

Or decks that rely on miltank and dusknoir slowly fill the bench\

and then those drawing machines like Empoleon, shiftry, and Delphox.

Blastoise and Float stone keldeo are major bench sitters.

I see a lot of decks with several darkrai EX's out at a time online too

Was it like this before the errata? I'm new.
