I've come across a dilemma. Recently, I tried changing the palletes of the Pokémon selection screen by using VBA-Pallete viewer and APE and HxD.

While I did find the pallete offsets of those(mainly three that I wanted to edit). I tried to change em to the color theme I want in APE. For some reason, editing the color data of the first/second/third pallete offsets' also change the other first/second/third(thus, dynamic pallete offsets that correlate to each other.

My question is, will changing the pallete offset data cause ROM corruption and freezes in other unknown areas or will it just cause other palletes linked to em to be a little messy?

(Do note that HMA doesn't work on my computer.)
