is Poke ball 1 word or 2?

im writing a fanfic and i dont know wether poke ball is pokeball or poke ball!!

I've always spelled it as pokeball. That's how it's spelled in the games.

In short, yes. You'd be going along with the games (and general canon, if I recall correctly from the manga as well) and the more canon-nazi-ish fans.

Games arnt always right.

About physics and that sort of thing, yeah, but since the games are the original form of canon, it's a bit hard to argue with it. The manga follows the same convention, if I recall correctly. Only fans really use the one-word form from what I can tell, and even then, it depends on which fan you're looking at. (I've seen it both ways just about equally, especially in the fanfiction forum.) No one really bludgeons you with a stick, however, if you spell it as one word.
