3rd Gen Is possible to catch scyther in R/S/E or Fr/Lg?

I really need a scizor, but i cant seems to get one an any of the games, is it possible?

I think you can find them in the Safari Zone, but they're very rare.

Scythers are very rare finds in the Safari Zone, but with a little luck in FR/LG you will find them!

This probably should have gone in Simple Question,s but its here now, so anyways. To get a Scizor, you must first catch a Scyther in Fire Red. They are in the Safari Zone and are quite hard to catch, OR, get 5500 coins for the Celadon City Game Corner and buy one. Then attach a Metal Coat to the Scyther and trade it across to someone else, then trade it back. Voila! Instant Scizor.

No. Unless you trade it, it's impossible to catch on Emerlad alone.
