Is Rash a good nature for Registeel?

or Sp. Attack. I usually go for natures that are Positive toward Sp. Attack. ;-)

For metagross you really want an adamant nature.

Who said anything about a Metagross?

As for Registeel, I'd try and get a Relaxed or Quiet one

You mean Careful instead of Quiet. +SpDef boost is always helpful for Registeel.

Oh yeah, Quiet ups SpAtk not SpDef

Careful I'd go for, if not Relaxed.

Which is why Regirock is in Sandstorm teams heh ?_?

Registeel has the advantage of not being weak to water like most Sandstorm team members, as well as 150 base in both defences. However, with no real offensive power all it can really do is stall, or maybe Explode (both quite predictable and easily dealt with).

Don't underestimate Registeel, peoples. It does get access to Ice Punch to counter Salamenece/Garchomp/Dragonite and Thunderbolt/Thunder for Gyarados, Milotic and Skarm. As long as you keep nailing those weaknesses, it should be strong enough. Also, it's Sandstorm and Toxic immune, Stealth Rock resistant, not affected by Fake Tears or Screech, and its only serious special weak is fire (I mean, only a handful of pokes use Land Power or Focus Blast), backed by an impressive set of resistances and a gargantuan base 150 SDef (Complemented by the decent 80 base HP). Sassy all the way, imo; Registeel is one of those few pokes that can still pull off special walling. :3 On other options it could use Counter with the right EV spread for a surprise KO, and Thunder Wave is always a nice support option.

But yeah, Rash Registeel = the suck. Sorry. :\
