4th Gen Is Riolu worth it?

I was wondering if hatching your Riolu egg is worth it? I mean, by the time you get it, your Pokemon will be in their mid-30s and it will hatch into a lvl 1, bad moveset Pokemon. Would you waste a lot of gameplay time, just to get this Pokemon up to speed AND make it happy enough so it will evolve (so no exp. share)

PS: Riolu is the Pokemon that evolves into Lucario.

I'm not so sure. The only reason I would hatch the egg is to get Lucario because I want one, and I have a wierd thing with only wanting to catch the first in an evolution line and then evolve it all the way through.

Thank God we can find baby Pokes in the wild now.

It really depends if you want to spend your time maxing out its happiness AND then training it up into Lucario. It took me ages to get Lucario up to where it is now, as I had some trouble trying to max its happiness (too lazy to really try do it properly)...

Its laborious in that you need to first hatch it, then max out its happiness, so it really depends if you're willing to do so when you're playing around lvl 30-40 for the rest of your team and spend some time raising it to Lucario.

It's the only way to get Riolu and Lucario except for trading, so if you're trying to collect, it's worth it.
