    look i no that most of you will kill me for asking such a "stupid" question, but i no that i'll get it anyway, for the dex. But, is it good for pve, or competitive or something? this is my current team, and i would really appreciate it if someone helped me.

    Golisopod- lvl.69
    lycanroc- lvl.68
    solgaleo (evolved from cosmog)- lvl.61
    kommoo- lvl.67
    salamence- lvl.69
    greninja- lvl.72

    i hav all da tapus, i have my snorlax, decidueye, zygarde, and a dragonite also. pls help me.
     
    not sure what is stupid about this thread but....

    I unfortunately don't have a good idea of what Silvally's competitive potential is, I've almost never seen it on the ladder and have never used it myself. It's at the very least an interesting Pokemon given that it's like a lesser Arceus. It has a decent movepool, and the ability to be any one of the 17 types is probably not something to scoff at. Wish all of its base stats were like 5 points higher though.

    In PvE (this does not include Battle Tree or Battle Royale), basically anything that isn't supreme crap (like say Magikarp or Wimpod) is good enough.

    In all honesty tho, I'm a Silvally junkie and have used it on just about every Showdown team I make and in my post game team on Moon.
    I love using it. No one knows what to expect when you send out a Silvally because it can do pretty much anything.
    Special Sweeper?
    Modest/Timid nature
    Surf/Flamethrower/Parting Shot/Thunderbolt

    Physical Sweeper?
    Adamant/Jolly
    Multi Attack/Iron Head/Swords Dance/Parting Shot

    Support?
    Some defensive nature
    Parting Shot/Thunder Wave/Roar/Multi Attack

    So...all in all:
    Yes. It's worth it.
     
    I'm not really competitive, but as far as grinding the Elite 4 for money, it has been worth it. I've been able to make it through the Elite 4 (sans the wildcard champion battle) with just Silvally. Just gotta have plenty of Leppa Berries to restore the PP on its RKS-relevant move.
