i just wanted to know if anybody thinks sneasel is good and a worthy party member?

oh, a fairly good pokemon, but if your looking for pure power, go with Scyther, or Pinsir

Sneasel pretty good cuz hev was in my party in coloseum.

    Sneasel Base Stats
    HP:55
    Attack:95
    Defence:55
    Speed:115
    Sp Attack:35
    Sp Defence:75

Looking at the Sp Attack, compared to it's type (Ice/Dark), Sneasel doesn't seem worth it. Sure, it's one of the faster pokemon, not among the uber-speedy like Aerodactyl or Jolteon, but faster than most. Unfortunately, using any STAB type move isn't going to be much effective at all, better to look into physical attacks.

Of course, it also has a x4 weakness to Fighting as well, so be sure to bear that in mind.

No, Sneasel is simply too weak to last long in almost any battle. Why bother with it when there's Umbreon in the game? Or go for another Ice Pokemon, if that's what you want. I hear Jinx is good, although I would know. (Never used her.) Sneasel may have an interesting type duo and movepool, but it just won't survive.

jynx is brilliant cuz i traded my starter for a smoochum (at the start of the game) and i easily wizzed through the gamethe only bad think was one of my pokemon caught pokerus

well my team is at the moment
    larvitar
    charmander
    rhydon
    sneasel
    houdour
    umbreon

is that a good team? i seem to be kicking but with them easier then any other team i have used

Any team in the game itself can work. But from a "real" team perspective, there's a 4X water weakness, 4X ground (unless Charmander evolves), and 5X Fighting. So to answer your question, your team isn't good for a real battle.
