4th Gen Is there a trick to natures?

Is it possible to predetermine a Pokemon's nature before capturing it?

For Example: "An adamant MACHOP appears every third battle on 'such and such' tile on route 207"

i know I can rule out natures depending on the amount of damage a Pokemon will receive from a lvl 10 hardy GEODUDE, the amount of damage they deal, and depending on which Pokemon, the moves they use.

If any master hunters want to clue me on on the trick of the trade I'd surley put it to good use...

Tiles are totally random as well as natures. There's no way to determine that, so there's not really a point in this thread.
