I have caught a Heracross & Aipom and I was wondering is there a way to save them, restart the game and retrieve them once I got my new Starter Pokemon?

If you have a Wii and the Pokémon Ranch game, or a friend with a DS and a copy of Pokémon Diamond or Pearl.
If you don't have either of those, but have Wifi, I could hold onto them for you until you get to the point where you can actually use Wifi again.

How does Pokésav work anyways? Is it like a computer backup of your Pokémon??
I had only ever heard that it was for hacking.

send them to someone on here, or to one of your mates, and then restart the game and play up to the point when you can use wifi (after the first gym battle) and then trade them back.

I had only ever heard that it was for hacking.
Sure it can be used for haxxing pokes, but it's also rather handy for backing them up too :)

Export the save from the cart onto your computer using some high-tech crap that isn't available to the general public.
That's really it, Pokesav is only for hacking. If you use Pokesav on a save, then the save is already backed up.
