    another series of Pokemon after diamond and Pearl?? Because well i read it here and just wanted it to be sure.......Well bye!

    The one who anwsered that question assumed that the question was about the games. Hence the Platinum anwser.

    If you are wondering if there is going to be another anime series after Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, perhaps when they introduce the 5th Generation Pokemon games.
     
    Most likely there will be another series of the animé. Most are just waiting for a 5th generation pokémon to show up and confirm it.

    I can see them ditching Ash before they take Brock out permanently.. xD;

    But yeah, it's been said from the creators that they don't plan on ending Pokemon anytime soon, so for all we know, that could mean another five generations. o__O Seriously.
     
    DUH!!! Don't you think there gonna milk pokemon for years to come??? Its easy enough to make up pokemon (they could just steal them from fourms) and i'mm sure they wan't as much money as possible!!

    I think Nintendo's leading Entertainment today is Pokemon...

    They wont DITCH it easily...

    So, after they released the 5th Gen (Which I think they will be making it now),

    Then, another JOURNEY AWAITS! :)

    I think, they'll probably stop making new generations for now, and start remaking some of the games, possibly for the Wii even...and like everyone is pointing out, it's Nintendo's Milktank, keeps on making milk, they won't release Milktank until it stops giving milk (Damn, terrible analogy, but you get my point)
     
    Like how Kipp says, Pokemon's Nintendo's personal Miltank.

    There's only two endings for the Miltank:
    1. It stops giving milk after a few gens, or
    2. the Miltank will give milk for eternity.

    You never know, Satoshi Tajiri might give his place to his son or someone worth the spot. Get my drift here?

    Having said that, you guys should never be so sure. Just because something is successful it doesn't guarantee it will go on...
     
    I do believe there will be another region to travel. Of course it's going to be Ash and Brock. Plus, the new region's girl (unless they re-do Johto or have another version of the Battle Frontier...).
