It's hard to compare Espeon/Umbreon as they each do different things... Espeon is good for hitting things and baton passing stuff but is frail, where Umbreon is worse with attacking but has excellent defences and is good for stalling/longer battles, so it depends which of those you prefer. Also with HM slaves it depends, but Quagsire is probably better than geodude as it can do those pesky water HM stuff as well as rock smash (but no Rock Climb). (Quagsire I'd say is better than Wooper as it gets Strength and Wooper doesn't).
