Is Torkoal a good pokemon?? I like it, but it only has a base Special attack of 85. I can always EV train him....

It is a relatively good fire type in that game since there aren't that many.

I love torkoal!! I had included him in my team in Ruby..... Most of all I love his ability White smoke, because his stats cannot be touched at all!! ^_^

Whoever said torkoal is a good pokemon is half right and half wrong. The only reason a trainer would use it is to tank it out seeing as it can learn curse and amnesia but with its speed and special defence it wouldnt last long

Torkoal as Tank = Very Good
Torkoal as anything else = Pathetic
Tanks need high defenses, and I can safely say that Torkoal has a high defence. And there's its ability: White Smoke, which prevents stat reduction, so you can pump it up. XD
