4th Gen Is trading between a Europe Diamond and a Japanese Platinum possible?

    Is trading between a Europe Diamond and a Japanese Platinum possible? Or is it regiolocked? I can't trade them over Wi-Fi because both games have the Wi-Fi code of my DSlite, and not my phat.
     
    I think its all right, though I don't own foreign games. If you can over Wi-Fi GTS, I assume you can Wireless Trade.
     
    Yes, it is possible and I have already done so with my American Diamond and Japanese Platinum.
    You should have no problems trading Pokémon between a European Diamond and Japanese Platinum.
     
    Of course it is. A lot of collectors look for Pokemon with different language names. Japanese nick-named Pokemon are a treasure to some people. :3
     
    Yep, Ive already done so to get MT moves for some of my pokemon.

    Good question. My guess is it would probably be the TurnBack Cave but someon who knows could answer better.

    Remember you'll receive a Togepi Egg from Cynthia, yes?
    When I traded the egg to my Japanese Pearl, it says on the Memo it came from Faraway Place. I think it goes the same for the Giratina too...

    I guess that'll be the case for Pokemon that comes from areas not existing in the previous games.
