I wouldn't exactly call my Emerald team original. The team is:

Dodrio
Swampert
Machamp
Starmie
Seviper

I'd give it a 3.3/5, because half of them are horribly overused, while the rest are more rarely used.

Now let's take a look at my Firered team...

3.3/5, the same reason I had for my Emerald team's rating.

i have many unique teams, but my emerald lv100 team is apparantly the most unusual;

And the only non-overused Pokémon there is Meganium, I wouldn't exactly call that original.

a pretty fun team to play.
the pokemon I think are fairly under appreciated but they're pretty cool

That is unique, the fact that none of the starter pokémon we usualyl see are there, and you don't ahve the generic legendaries.
I congratulate you on such a one-of-a-kind team.

Swampert has Surf/Ice Beam/Earthquake/Rest. It takes on all weak AI players and the Zigs pick up stuff for me.

BTW - Your team cannot be unique if you have a legendary in it. WAAAAY too many trainers use them. It's sad.

I'd rate my team a 4/5 because I only use Rayquaza for the Legendary and all the Pokemon in my party have no Area they are:

Hehe, well, I don't know about original, but lately I've taken to using pokies I haven't used much before, so, for example, in my crystal I've got:

Leef, the Bayleef
Scout, the sentret
Phanpy the Phanpy O.o (I forgot to nickname that one ^^; )
Sudowoodo (no nick for that one either, it's original name is weird enough ^^; )
Elli the elekid
Magy the magmar ^^; She evolved a bit too quickly ^^;

I dunno about other people's teams, but for one of mine this is pretty original. I also keep a Miltank and a Scyther at high levels and alternate them from time to time for variety ^^;

EDIT: PS: Oh, and VanirElf, yeah Corsolas are adowable ^^;
