    ok, this team is a doubles team i was wondering how i could make it better.
    hit me with your harshest comments. i'm planin on going to the pokemon VGCs this year.

    i like to lead with these two. i set up rain dance to get swift swim for omie and HP recover on isavella. then i'll either surf and spore off whatever i need to.

    these two i will hardly ever lead with. i like to switch these guys in with to make a kill with charge beam for spatk boost or ext speed just incase.

    flygon needs alot of work im not even sure what to do with it but i like to pair it with swellow. swellow protect then activates the guts then goes for broke with facade.

    swellow can also get pair up with omystar for surf as well


    but how well do you think my team will match up against the other teams?
    they allow some ubers in the tournament.
    but like i said hit me with your comments i want to know what you think will be best.

    Well, i'm a little doubles savvy so maybe i could help =)

    First off, your team doesn't exactly have a sort of *strategy* other then *rain dance and surf whatever* the thing is in doubles you need to have protect on most of your pokes because of attacks such as earthquake and others being VERY dominate in doubles (ESPECIALLY explosion).

    First i'd recomend ridding yourself of that omastar and you should put in Kyogre. I'm actually going to VGC's too so i know that Kyogre is eligible for play, and he summons INFINITE rain dance for your team so you dont even require damp rock as an item. Secondly if your going to focus on rain i also recomend ridding yourself of that arcanine as arcanine doesn't have very good synergy on a rain dance team and rain dance powering up water moves (especially surf if your going to use it) will quickly put an end to arcanine. I'd recomend something like a ludicolo with swift swim as ludicolo in the rain can be pretty devastating and x4 strength against water may even allow you to surf with it in play, and dont forget that ludicolo has other stuff like leech seed to take down walls like bronzong quicker as pokes like that like to set up their teams like for trick room(another team type you need to watch out for)

    Also there's the fact i notice that your team just wants to straight up kill things, but thats the problem with doubles you cant JUST do that because the opponents want that so they cant set up on you with walls that'll laugh at your hits and set up a big sweep for their team. Your going to need a strategy and if its rain dance i can help but be forewarned by running rain dance in doubles- you may have a mirror match against another doubles team that runs rain dance as well so tread carefully.

    Anyway, i'd further rate but this team needs to be COMPLETELY revamped as none of the pokes have very much synergy and as of right now a smeargle with dark void(oh yea and i dont think sleep clause is in effect here either) will set up on your leads horribly and if you think you can just switch out while they set up he can just dark void you again putting you in an even worse situation. I think you should read this- https://www.smogon.com/dp/articles/double_battles to become more acquanted with the double battle metagame (even though it's not AS clear as it is with singles on smogon, there's still a fine line between what will work and what WONT)

    my team was developed for singles. i'll check out the web site and take heed to what you say.

    i was thinking of adding a wall but im not to good at making them

    what do you think of claydol or hypno?

    Don't ask me, it's whatever you would want for a doubles team, but the fact remains it has to have a ROLE or a special something to do to achieve your goal, whether it be trick room, rain dance, support, whatever you want =)
     
    If i was too ever to go to something like that I would use a team of
    Fire Fighting. And Grass fighting.

    But as you've set up your team.
    Like the first person said rid of arcanine.
    Look for a stronger water type.
    Rethink your strategy before accepting it.
