Issue: issue with one of my threads

    a simple question turned into everybody bashing Pokémon, arguing back and forth and practically yelling at each other... and it gets EVEN WORSE from there, the last guy who posted on the thread turned the blame onto ME and said my thread was an argument I made when all I did was ask a "Why" question and go to bed and now for whatever reason he think it is MY argument!!! IT WAS JUST A QUESTION BECAUSE I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND SOMETHING!!! I want something done!!
     
    Sorry you were misunderstood. In the event that your thread goes sour (though I don't think it's sour enough for anyone to get infracted), you can ask the moderator of that forum to lock your thread. They'll do so since you requested it.

    I like Flareon myself, so I hate that your thread became like that as well, really. :( But people were giving their reasons that they felt Flareon was bad, and even still, it's no secret to the fandom that Flareon doesn't get anything good in its movepool. GameFreak should fix that, and then threads about Flareon wouldn't turn into that.
     
    The thread did not get out of hand in my opinion. I may, however, close the thread if you wish.

    If you make a thread in Pokemon General's main forum, you have to be prepared for people discussing around the topic and presenting arguments :) Arguments as in valid points and reasons, not as in verbal fights.
